    Excellent mod.  It's great now to be able to drive around the city and walk the sidewalks without the crowds getting in the way.  Thanks man.

    This is a pretty good attempt at sorting out the idiotic npc's, for me o find there's still enough npc's around to feel like a populated city the only downside for me is that I would prefer the traffic to be thinned out rather than non existent although i have seen a few vehicles in the distance, and that is definitely not a criticism , I think you've done good job here and now I've tried it I just can't play the game on normal mode.
    Keep up the good work and thanks

    You turned Cyberpunk 2077 into I Am Legend.

      Exactly this. I love it, actually. Also, the huge fps boost in cities (up to 100%) is welcome since I am a framerate wh*re that only accepts framerates of 95 and up (seriously, going from 60 to 95 to 144 hz/fps.. you never want to go back :( )

      I don't think so, just the ones that idle around and aren't interacted with

      That means 90% of the game is gone, I guess... I mean... The game presents little more than weirdly dressed NPC's who die so much as your vehicle moves closer than 12 meters distance to them.
      Thx for the mod, I was looking for something to cut this crap off of my game.

      There are still a lot of NPC's in the game with this mod enabled. It's just that the fluff, filler NPC's that literally do nothing else but bonk into each other and wait at stop lights are removed. Your fps will be increased like 100% (mine went from 45 ish to 100) in cities. It will feel less "lively" but it also gives you that I Am Legend feel, it's actually pretty cool if youre into that.

    Hey mate, awesome find! I'm an fps wh*%# so this is just the mod I needed (I want the game to run at a locked 95 fps and now it does, even on Ultra!).

    But, is there a way to simply reduce the amount of cars and pedestrians instead of completely disabling them? I've been playing around with settings but can't get it to work.

    Thanks!

    Is there any fps performance increase?

      Well judging by the fact that I need to play the game at low population in order for the game to be playable, I would say yes.

      In my case there is no difference. Roads are clear, crowds don't exist yet fps remains same. I have i7 4790k and an rtx2070. I tried all settings, same fps with or without this mod.

      Same with me, I was hoping there would be a change in fps but it doesn't seem to have much compared to just lowering the crowd size to small

      There is a HUGE fps increase. It went from 45-ish to well over 100 in cities. Now my fps never, ever, dips lower than my target framerate of 144 (got a 144hz monitor).

    Wont this mod break extra sidequests that you pick up from strangers talking? I've had at least two missions just by walking around and listening in on a convo and started talking to them. Or do "pedestrians" as they are called in the config file, only the placeholder NPCs and not actual NPSs?

    Also, you will miss out on a LOT of flavour text with no citizens, which would be a waste. What I do love however, is that my FPS has gone through to roof now that the streets are clear. ;)

    Hey there. What if I would like to make the opposite - make the crowds and traffic bigger? What are default values shown in ini file?

      I changed the values to this and it seems to work. Kills my i9-9900k for sure. Fast forward your game time to 12pm and walk or drive to a new area for it to start kicking in. The world gets densley packed.

      [Crowd]
      AppropriateMinDistToPlayer = 200.000000
      AppropriateMinLastSeenTime = 200.000000
      BaseParkedCarProbability = 100.000000
      DespawnLastSeenMinTime = 100.000000
      Enabled = true
      EnablePedestrians = true
      EnableVehicles = true
      MinStreamingVelocityNormalizedToBlockSpawn = 200.000000
      SpawnLimit = 25

      Weird, when I tried with these settings, it didn't have much of an effect, just felt mostly like the normal game's crowds. Maybe I didn't go far enough away? It might work better for other people who try these settings, who knows.

      None of those values change crowd density. It only affect despawn time and distance but spawning is based of location and time of the day and the density is fixed by ingame option preset. Those values can remove NPC by increasing despawn but don't change actual density settings. We need to know where is the file of the ingame option presets for crowd and change the value of those presets or add new presets but I don't think we can before modding tools.
