Fix: Skip Breaching Screen You may notice that the game stops at the Breaching screen if you only turn on the skip intro videos. To fix this, you have two options: (Note: Both of these options will make cross-platform save inaccessible.)
1. Install Cybercmd (Recommended) If CP77 Skip Main Menu detects the installation of Cybercmd, it will automatically add a config to skip the Breaching screen. There's nothing else for you to do.
2. Manually add a launch option to the game You will need to add -skipStartScreen to the launch options in your game. Here are the instructions on how to do it on Steam. You'll have to google if you are using Epic or Gog.
A. If this mod is installed and the ArchiveXl mod is installed, the game will occasionally crash when loading(starting). B. There are two ways to solve this problem.
1. ESC -> Setting -> Gameplay -> Disable Auto load last save. 2. or uninstall ArchiveXL.
However, since ArchiveXl is a prerequisite for most mods, using solution 1 is the best option.
PSA: Removing this mod temporarily may fix Cyberpunk 2077 not launching after an Nvidia update
After updating to the latest Nvidia drivers and Nvidia App today my game refused to launch (Nvidia App 11.0.2.312 // Nvidia Driver 572.16 // CP2077 Patch 2.21). No errors or anything, simply just nothing happening when executing the game's exe.
I did the usual driver roll-back, driver clean install, and even re-patched my game to 2.21 again.... but nothing helped.
So I decided to check Events Viewer before going further, and found a plugin from this mod was causing the issue.
Removing all files from this mod allowed the game to launch fine. Reinstalling caused the same issue again. This is probably Nvidia's fault with the new driver but removing this mod is a temporarily but necessary workaround til they release a fix.
Having the same issue but just to report things, mine was actually working. I was on RTX 5080 with the new driver and the mod was working. While doing some undervolting, my gpu/windows crashed a couple of times, still the mod was working but eventually at one of the restarts, the mod gone kaput and I'm not able to make it work again, I see the same error in the event viewer, that's how I found it that this mod was the culprit so uninstalling it fixed on my end too. Now I wonder was it working because I first installed this mod on a system with 4070 Super and updated the driver later?
EDIT: SOLVED it by just installing it manually, instead of vortex.
The latest Nvidia driver is causing BSODs for a lot of people. To start, definitely disable the background recording, and to be safe I just disable the Nvidia overlay completely. I think it has to do with frame generation but that's just anecdotal.
Hopefully they release a fixed driver within a few days.
Doesn't work in 2.2 for me. Never mind. I just hadn't updated CET yet. Sorry. For anyone else having this issue. You need CET version 1.34+ from GitHub. The Nexus Mods version is not getting updated anymore.
I have a problem where the video doesn't skip, and there's still the intro, but the breach screen is gone. Using fast launch mod completely fixes this. But I also just recently migrated to Mod Organizer, so I don't know why if it because of the Mod Organizer or is it because of your mod isn't working.
I know that your mod is enabled because the Load Last save file function properly work, it just won't skip the initial intro. Could you give some help?
the mod organizer is using a virtual file system that is not compatible with this mod, you should try manually installing it. Basically, any asi/dll mod that interacts with the file system may potentially have a compatibility issue with MO2. I haven't looked into how to make the mod compatible with MO2.Maybe you can send me the cp_skip_main_menu_asi.log inside the mod folder
I can do that. The log is generated, so I know that your mod is enabled, I'll send you a link
edit: it seems like the log was generated, but it was an empty log. So, I'm not sure if I can provide you anything that can help you debug it. Do you have other suggestion? Maybe because I use Root Builder plugin for MO2. Lemme, try adjusting your mod to it.
sorry, I revisited the page and realize you ask me to includes the log, here it is

it doesn't find init.lua, but weirdly is that the load into last save immediately is working, and it also generates db.sqlite3 and config.json along with the log
