Been working on a new preset that goes along with ray tracing really well, and should be uploading it sometime in the next few weeks. EDIT: Ended up getting very, very busy. Plan to get back to this eventually, but I'll likely post it as an entirely new mod when I do.
So far looks good, nice detail without overboard changes
Only drawback I see in any reshade, not just yours: Why is it every reshade makes the city look great, but your chics face looks like a waxed doll in screenshot
I know from most perspective nobody cares because its mostly first person view. Yet why did they put so much detail into your character when you like the screenshot of showing off what you can create(regardless of any fetish or what not).
My girls face and body looks so real with texture and so forth, I was either up too long to tell if it was a game character or my next wife
But in all serious, I have noticed that any reshade makes your character skin look like a waxed doll but everything else is like cool. What happened to the old reshade that made everything look good no matter what you did with it?
Your reshade made things look great without doing anything (you even included the reshade files so I didn't have to redownload any, thank you).
Sorry for the long comment, but if you ever see what I am saying, let me know if there is a fix lol.
i don't really know the issue, why the game after installing reshade takes longer to load. but its ok for me...for what i get, im very impress! it's like more another game with this enhancementy, so thank you :).
My PC specs are i7 8700K and a RTX 2080 - game installed on a ssd - with ultra settings - viewfield 100 - film grain off - chromatic aberration off - without ray-tracing. - dlss automatic runs stable on 77 - 88fps.
Thanks, I've uploaded a new version as the old version was missing some of the effects due to one missing file. Reshade increases load time sometimes as it has to load some textures and hook into things.
I added a part about performance now, but basically it'll cost a bit of performance depending on your computer specs. If it runs badly for you, the biggest cost is the directional anti-aliasing so you could try unchecking that and seeing if it runs well.
Old version of the preset unfortunately didn't have several effects turned on, including the anti-aliasing effect. That is the biggest performance hog, so you might want to try the new version and see if the FPS is still good! EDIT: I've added a LITE version with no AA effect in case of performance issues.
Uploaded a new version! Please download it. The original version was missing a file that was necessary for multiple effects. I've also made the instructions both clearer and simpler.
