Would be nice to see this updated to use RadioExt, since that seems to allow for a radio station to exist without replacement. Can even have a name and logo without breaking other stations!
I tried editing the file myself, but couldn't convert the .wem sound files. There's also no older versions of this mod to get the old icon image to use, sadly.
Broke every radio station that was added, luckily I made multiple back-ups so wiping everything and pasting back my old files allows everything to work again. But there's something not right that does not play well with the other kids. If I have time in the future I'll see if it's a corruption of data or file conflict.
did you try version 1.4 ? I am aware that the prior versions broke some other mods but the newest one shouldn't, at least it seems to work fine for my instance of the game.
My apologies for taking so long to respond. When I tried the newer version nothing crashed, but it also did not install the station either. I have not tried to remove other radio stations to see if there is per se a limit to custom stations, atm there's 4 installed. These are manual installs and there's no issues to my knowledge affecting whether the mod works or not as it does not crash just wipes out any custom radio station. However as each of the 42 mods installed are synergizing without issue, I'll do a single install at another time after I do a complete back up and update again.
This sounds really cool and right up my alley! Unfortuantely I already have a Body Heat Replacer... ANy chance you might offer alternative replacer stations? Preferably something like Samizdat or Morro replacer?
Thank you for all of the amazing comments! I will upload a new version of the mod without the replacement of the radio name and icon since they broke the game and clashed with other mods. I will also update the file structure so it works with Vortex.
Excellent. Great to enjoy this music in the game again! Just a small heads up. The file structure is still a bit off. Inside the zip it needs to be "\archive\pc\mod". You have an extra folder at the root. If you are using something like Winrar to compress it, right click the "archive" folder and then name the zip after the mod.
Something in this mod seem to break everything after patch 1.5. With it, perks have no description/titles. Map markers, clothing mods, text messages etc. occasionally show strings instead of text. Once removed, everything goes back to normal.
Try the download that is for vesion 1.2 in the files, i think it doesn't alter any interface regarding the radio station, only the audio, some ppl were reporting some interface issues with new version in 1.3 so maybe it'll help.
Hecc, thanks mate! I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out if this was typical CP2077 jank or a mod! No hard feelings to the author. Major updates always bork stuff up a bit. Love this mod!
Had to remove the radio icon and name since it broke a lot of stuff. The new version v1.4 has the same audio as v1.3 but without breaking the game. Also v1.4 is slightly better than 1.2 because the audio levels are more well balanced.
Excellent mod. It baffles me how this game was conceived without any synth... This makes up a lot for that. Thanks
(BTW: The mod manager file seems to be packed wrong. At least Vortex doesn't seem to install it correctly. Unzip it, put the files in the folder tree: "\archive\pc\mod", rezip it and select the zip with "Install From File")
YES, suggestion to the awesome author of this mod: could you please correct the folder structure of the compressed mod file: (rar or zip) "\archive\pc\mod"
This mod has completely overhauled my entire game. I am now having the best experience possible. I feel like my entire life has changed because of this fantastic mod.
I don't remember the exact process, I had to unpack and repack the file using some custom program. Someone on the Cyberpunk 2077 Modding discord made the program as far as I know and I think you'll find all the relevant information on there.

I'm planning on adding a radioext version as well tho.

It should be fixed now.
Hope it gets fixed. Really enjoyed the mod.

Also, great for you to post the Youtube playlist, added to favorites.
I've tried opening the radiostations_icons.xbm in gimp, but it keeps failing to open.
