All of you having problems, please go to Cyberpunk 2077 Modding Community Discord to get FASTER and BETTER help than what you will get here in the POSTS section. You will get alot of wrong answer by people who are only guessing and getting wrong information from third-hand sources...you will get the right answers from people who actually know the coding side of the mods you think are broken, when in fact they are not.  :)

To be fair this is the best advice on here,  as a lot of the developers and coders are on discord :)

If you're seeing the error message "Failed to resolve address for hash ...", it's most likely due to some plugins that haven't been updated for the latest version of the game.

You can check whether the issue is related to RED4ext or a specific plugin by looking at the MessageBox title. If it says "RED4ext.SDK", it's probably a plugin that needs to be updated.

Hello, after long time i wanted to play cyberpunk again. I updated the few mods but I get an error:
    Red4ext.SDK
Failed to resolve adress for hash 0x944e3ece.

I am playing on GOG. Can someone help me please? Latest Version 2.21.

    What can I do?

    Anyone else getting this error?
Script validation has failed for unknown reason.
    "D:\a\red4ext\red4ext\src\dll\Hooks\ValidateScripts.cpp:44"

That directory doesn't exist on my D: drive, and the error hasn't appeared before Patch 2.2x ... I've updated R4E, and all the other basic stuff like CyberCmd, CET, Codeware, etc...

But the really weird thing is that this bug only pops up if I try to start the game via the RedLauncher... if I start it directly via cyberpunk.exe, no error message, game loads... but sadly without CET and mods dependent on it.

For me it got fixed by re-installing this mod too, specifically the RedMod version, not the legacy one:

Getting error 998 with "No access to memory location" or whatever. Has anyone found a fix for this? Guess I'll have to downgrade back to 2.12 again... Gotta love steam and CDPR forcing updates

nvm: tried to install VC++ 2022 manually. Doing it through protontricks did it. Will probably downgrade anyways

Is anyone else having the issue that the "logs" folder doesn't appear or install with the rest of it? I keep seeing that the logs folder should be there but it isn't..

Same issue. I'm afraid to install dependent mods if i cant verify the extender is working.

Was having some problems with getting this mod to work. What fixed it for me was reinstalling it along with big mods like codeware, archivexl and such. I was previously messing with optiscaler to enable Intel's xess 2.0 and frame gen on my B580 card and changed some .dll
files in the process. Restoring the said .dll files by reinstalling the mods fixed the problem.
