you can take the exe of cyberpunk[which is in the bin file so you have to dig in the folders] create a desktop shortcut and right click it and go to properties. in the target box click on the end of it[usually after "exe"] and put a space and then type the argument as seen above. for example in order to get ghostrunner on the gog platform to run in directx 12 for the raytracing without the launcher you would find the exe they use which is in the /ghostrunner/binaries/win64 create a shortcut and go to properties on the shortcut go to the target box and type -DX12 [target-> [ E:\Ghostrunner\Ghostrunner\Ghostrunner\Binaries\Win64\Ghostrunner-Win64-Shipping.exe -DX12 ] this trick is useful for launching any command arguments on launchers that dont have them
Just an FYI, you can also just make a shortcut of the exe file and paste it to your desktop (cyberpunk2077.exe). That is how I have been launching the game, takes you straight to intro vid. CET allows you to disable those intro videos as well, which I go straight to menu. Your trick is pretty fancy too, modifying the launch location of the shortcut. It could also be adjust as a .bat/script if really needed or wanted.
THANK YOU, I was trying to find a fix for a while on why my game was not launching the prelauncher. And trying to find out how to just have steam launch the EXE instead of launcher, but then found this instead. I can now get achievements. steam says I have 4 minutes played, but I have beaten the game already in 29 hours :^).

Though I'm just spreading the word on the command line workaround for Steam, I didn't discover it myself.
