Does this officially not work anymore? Just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong. This mod/instruction is very, very important for gameplay enjoyment. I, literally, can't play the game again until this issue is modded/fixed. Too frustrating sitting through these unskippable, life-sucking scenes.
I attempted using this... downloaded everything per instructions and replaced 0.9 to 10.0, as instructed... .. I see the option to speedup/slowdown in Simple Menu during gameplay... but the max it goes is 0.9 still.
I've downloaded Simple Menu's latest, 43.1, two times, trying to find this text.. and I can't in the misc.lua file. I downloaded it and manually installed it.. and looked.. couldn't find it. I deleted it. Then I downloaded and installed it with Vortex Mod manager and checked the misc.lua file and still don't see any writing matching what you describe.
I installed and it's doing absolutely nothing, it shows up in CET but when I use the hotkeys just nothing happens, and I can't skip dialogue scenes like you can whatsoever

Anyone figured out how to update this, since Simple Menu has updated/changed their Time code?

change (if you want it to increment faster);
