The bug is still present in 2.0 and Phantom Liberty. So if you're wondering if this is still needed, yes it is.
Mod tested to work on 2.0 and Phantom Liberty both. I tested with a clean mod install so if it doesn't work for you there may be potential mod conflict, tho honestly I wouldn't know what'd conflict with it.
That noise was bugging me and making me unable to read shard's content when I first played through the game, now I finally found the line that played the noise and erased it.
Install instruction:
Install RedScript Extract and copy into \Cyberpunk 2077
