the one thing i miss the most from this mod with the 2.0 update now released is "convert food to single item."

I thought it would not.  I tried it.  It pops up it's menu, you can set the options and all, but it never activates.  I really miss this one!!

Does it cause your footsteps to mute at all? Or is that only associated with Vortex loading the mod?

I hope this isn't a dead mod or anything because I like it. However, I have one (albeit small) issue that bugs me. Any time I turn this mod on my footsteps in game mute. Just footsteps. I turn it off, they come back. Any ideas?  I know it's silly, but I have absolutely no skill to fix it.

Edit: Clarification. I tested each of my mods (turned all of them off and turned on each one individually) and this is definitely the only mod that's causing the issue. Someone smarter than me please help. :')

Automatic application restore works. Converts food into cat food. Drinks are not convertible.Food automatically DOES NOT EAT (DO NOT USE).

I believe AutoHeal v3 will resolve all your issues - if I ever finish it, it's a significant improvement - but in the meantime, Cat Food is a necessary evil. It's needed in the game so if you're going to convert food to a single item anything else would really, really, annoy!

    Hi there,

I´ve been looking for a mod which either basically sets a timer on the bounce backs(like 1 healing every 60s) or which renders the bounce backs useless(healing 0%) and you can only rely on the blood pump.

I know this mods doesn't have anything to do with this, but I thought as you have done something similar, ofc in another direction, maybe you would be interested in pointing me in right direction in order to do it, or if its a fast thing maybe you can do it :)

I think I´m not the only one looking for something like this, to make the game more interesting.

    Cheers and thanks in advance!

Hiya dcdoc - I like your thinking but the honest answer is I wouldn't know how.

Adding a system on top of  the game is pretty easy. (e.g. adding a feature that automatically does something the game can already do). Intercepting or changing how the game's core systems work is more advanced. And in principle you'd have to change the properties of the healing meds or the healing system to accomplish this - you'd need to edit the actual game code (though I believe RedScript can do this). Not to say it's not possible but beyond my knowledge at the moment. Sorry.

It would be possible for me to add an option that resets the auto-consume in my own mod every 60 secs (instead of when you lose Combat status), but I think you'd want more than that.

      Hey Sensei,

thanks for your reply. Yeah, definitely you could implement a functionality like that onto your mod. It will spice up things. The in-combat is the key part imo, as is the only times is it could be needed.

I´ll try and find out through the cybernengine wiki and discord how to do it, or if somebody has already thought about it.

Cause I think it would be an incredible addition to just get rid of the healing from the bounce backs generally. Just tie everything to the blood pump, but with charges. And the better blood pump you acquire the more charges and better healing, sort of like dark souls with the flasks.

      P.S I´ve just seen there's a new script extender mod available https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/2380

Taken a little longer than anticipated but I've updated the mod to give a hotkey option, which can then be limited to be used only once every so often, e.g. 60 secs.

The idea would be that you could unmap the default 'use med key' in CP2077 and use this one instead, that would give you an approximation of what you were looking for. It's still a work in progress but I'd be interested to know what you think.

      Hey Sensei,

Talking about responding late, I didn't get a notification that you replied :(, what a pity. I'm gonna give it a try today and see it. This could be a very good first steps towards finding a solution for the healing in the game.

      Thanks!

      Cheers

Cool - and just after you download it - it gets broken by a new version of Cyberpunk and CET! That should be fixed in AutoHeal 2.2.

In reference to what you were saying, I am working on a complete overhaul of the healing, food, and buffs system with something a lot more tactical in nature - with real decision and consequence mechanics. It's mostly there but I'm limited on the time I can invest in such things. I was kind of hoping to see what CDPR was going to bring with their next update maybe with some new exciting stuff, but it seems to be continuing on the bugs and optimisations route. Hopefully soon though.

I´ll try the new version today.

Thats really cool! Cause I was thinking about it the other day. If I can help with something please tell me.

The other day I thought of expanding on the Idea of the "Blood-pump Healing" by adding a negative side effect, like in the W3 you could heal yourself but got toxicity. Maybe in Cyberpunk prevent running for 15sec or not being able to hack, something like that.

Like I mentioned way back I think getting rid of the bounce backs and diverting the healing to the blood pump is a good start. Then add other effects like Over time effects to food e.g: regenerate health 1HP/s to food, stops in combat and then better for stays in combat.

Definitely, the latter - with food having a much slower regen over time and paused during combat, limiting the regen effect on BB to the natural regen limit (which is by default 60% in CP, upgradable with Athletics perks or cyberware) with food required after that limit, a harsher and more strictly enforced cooldown timer on MD and BB - but with options to override the timer with penalties after the fact, changes to Bioplastic Blood Vessels, and some perks (Cardio Cure and Restorative Shadows) to fit - and the list goes on!

I've never used the Blood Pump myself, as it always felt overpowered, and I didn't like having to use up the cyberware key for healing. When I get around to trying it I'll be able to have a better opinion and I will need to test its effect in relation to my mod at some point anyway.

I've spent around 300 - 400 hours work on this thing so far, and have over 700 hours, and counting, in Cyberpunk game time which is simply ridiculous but it takes time to test all the various story scene scenarios which are inconsistent as hell when it comes to effects on game mechanics, though loving the exercise and what I've learned about coding for the game during all that is immense!

I could upload a "beta" for people to try, as what I have is definitely in a playable state and I think really changes the game to feel more satisfying and tactical, but there are still some unexpected behaviours during certain story scenes, particularly some of the off-the-beaten-track stuff, that needs more testing. Plus I kind of figure that until CDPR release a major update to the game there are probably not many players out there that care that much at the moment. So just working on it as my hobby project for the time being.

Thats really impresive, I think it would definitely worth it, I´ll be really happy to try it out.

I have about 120h on Cyperpunkt, and I haven't even finished the game, as right now I´m in a point were its no fun, cause of the issues, the main one the lack of difficulty. I have installed all the mods from rmk1234 to improve the gameplay regarding level scaling and role playing, but the healing issue is still open.

I see the blood pump as the key, cause is already built in the system, and I find it a cool RPG element, which if modeable solves healing. Like I mention it could be use as an Estus Flask from Dark Souls, that you have to eat for example to get it refill and you have a limited amount of uses in combat
