I encourage you to use Red4 Conflict Checker to ensure you don't run into mod conflict issues when using this mod.
I would love to see also the chance to fight the other boxers from the missions again if possible! also... any chance you can cook up a mod suggestion? hygene lol, shower and bathroom needs that work with Dark Future mods nerve bar, being you can shower and sit on a toilet... ive mad a modpack with literally everything but that, also... missing windshield wipers.. but like thatd im sure be a way bigger task

This is probably a big ask, but is it possible to make the robot imitate the Beat on the Brat enemies? I want a way to replay those fights, and this seems like a cool in universe way to do so. For the twins, maybe the bot can have a holographic projector?
How difficult would it be to make it give Solo-exp for defeating the bot? Even if it's just a small amount, it would be a really nice way to train immersively

"Warning/disclaimer There is a slightly mysterious period of the game between the heist and meeting Takemura at the diner. During this time the range maybe unavailable. Some time (at least 4 hours) after meeting Takemura you can get the call from Wilson about the comptetion, once you have completed the competition, leave the ara and return, the range/mod will now work for the rest of the game"
If you use Wilsons Range and try the door to the range during this time .... the game will CTD.
If you play CP2077 and have the "Playing for Time" quest active ... it is best to see Tak right away .... accessing modded features during this period may mess up your save IMO.
The problem is soooo many nexus savegames are saved at this point ....
If you want to avoid comments about your mod not working .... you might want to include a conditional deactivating your mod during this quest.
Again ..... this is NOT a problem with this mod ..... other and perhaps all mods are affected by this.
Any way to add some hit points to this dude? I did a new game plus and one punch is all it takes. Would be cool since its a training bot to be able to take a ton of damage. Maybe a ring out stops the fight? Great idea though! You're right this guy should have been repeatable from the start. Come on CDPR.
I am currently looking into how to scale the robot's health to the player level. With the latest update, I had to fix a few bugs before figuring out how to add additional features.
I'm having issues with the mod. I've installed the mod in an existing playthrough and the quest spawns correctly but the bot never attacks. Instead npcs attack me when I swing at the bot. This might have a conflict with Night City Alive mod.
Yeah, that's really odd. I've never had that issue and I use Night City Alive myself. Do you have any other mods that alter NPC behavior? I use 'red4-conflicts' to check if the mod conflicts with other mods I use. I use around 1000 mods and have no conflicts with 'Practice Makes Perfect', and I use other mods like 'HARDCORE22V2 COMPLETE' and 'Combat Revolution'.
I am about to release a 2.0.2 update to include translations for other languages. I'll include additional checks to make sure crowd reactions are disabled. If you still have issues after that, it may be another mod causing the issue.
Thanks for the quick reply, I use "Nova City - Addons" for Traffic and population density and maybe "They will remember" alter's NPC behavior. I'll check 'red4-conflicts' and see what comes up. Anyway, I would love to see your mod list as finding a stable mod list would be awesome.
Nothing game breaking should happen. Which older version do you have? If it's v1.5 or lower, just make sure the "Talk to the Coach" task, attached to the "Beat on the Brat" quest, is not active when you update or it may be active through the rest of your playthrough. But either way, not game breaking at all.
I was literally thinking about how practicing against the robot was something the game was sorely lacking the day before you first uploaded this mod. F***ing incredible work choom, thanks for making this (CDPR really should have added this as a feature). I endorsed because you read my mind lol
You have no idea how long I've waited for this mod. Like back when you had to physically do stuff to improve the Body attribute. If I knew how to mod I would have done it myself. Thank you so much!
Hmmm it would be cool to see if this can be replicated. That way you can make even a gym in this game. Since this is like a quest it might be possible. Like outside of each house in this game or a AMM gym with this mod on top. I have to look at the structures. This is kinda groundbreaking
Very cool! I have always wanted this as well! Kind of related to this, it would be cool if V could use AI workspots (like a weight bench in this case, etc), by using a function similar to how Wheeze uses for their sit/lean anywhere mods.
I just did a quality-of-life update, version 1.6, but lookout for a future 2.0 update. All updates until then will be to fix any issues with the user experience and replayability of boxing Coach Fred's bot in the H10 Megabuilding, but once I get to 2.0 there might be a few additional areas added. I'll keep Kerry's mansion in mind. I actually have yet to meet Kerry in any playthrough I've done funny enough.
