Hi y’all! This is my first proper mod so I’m super excited to bring this to you all!!!

This is a collection of nine iconic weapons inspired by weapon skins in the base files that I think are pretty unique or I just like. This all started with the maelstrom skin of the Omaha tech pistol which has a unique skin but isn’t an iconic. Anyway, I’ve got three handguns, three ARs/SMGs, and three shotguns. Here they are!

Couple of Side notes:

  • I tried my best here but not all of these are super well balanced so keep that in mind. I'm happy to hear out any suggestions but you can always edit the stats to your liking in the provided files so keep that in mind too.

  • Three of these iconics are available before completing the heist. You can find them in the open world, or in the spoilers farther down this page. Additionally, these all have a random drop quality so they should spawn around the quality of most weapons at your level.

  • Some of these are based on weapons skins that have more than one variant, I’ll try to list them all in their descriptions. To get the variant you want you can either spawn them in until you’re happy, or cycle Harold Lowe's inventory by waiting 24h in game.

  • This is my first mod and as such I've probably made some gonk mistakes, I expect there will be bugs and glitches, I’ll do my best to help you folks out but I’m not exactly fluent in technobabble, I barely understand how I made these in the first place.

  • If any of you are interested in making translations of my work feel free to do so! If you want, you can reach out and I’d be happy to link your translated versions somewhere in this description. Anyways, on to the weapons!

The Weapons:

Fafnir (Omaha):
  • This iconic variant is based on the M-76e Omaha.
  • This maelstrom themed handgun fills a similar role as the post 2.0 Fenrir SMG.
  • It holds 12 round and deals electrical damage. Additionally each round has a chance to upload the weapon glitch quick hack to your foes.
  • It only comes in one maelstrom themed texture.
  • This was my first go at the whole iconic weapon thingy so it’s a bit rough around the edges, but it holds a special place in my heart.

Basilisk (Overture):
  • This revolver is an iconic variant of the classic Malorian Overture.
  • Sports the same iconic weapon mod as the Mancinella iconic revolver that was released with Phantom Liberty.
  • It sports a custom silencer, fires chemical rounds that can apply poison on headshots, and after entering combat your stealth damage bonus remains momentarily active.
  • This weapon uses the pimp model of the overture so there are two variants. A golden themed skin and a darker purple skin.
  • I had two reasons for making this one, firstly I just miss being able to use revolvers in stealth from the pre 2.0 patch era, and secondly I love the idea of the Mancinella but really don’t like the DR-5 Nova’s model.

Roach (Grit):
  • This handgun is a variant of the HA-4 Grit
  • It comes equipped with the iconic mod from the Rook Lexington. As such each rapid successive hit increases critical chance, but decreases accuracy. If you miss a shot the effect disappears.
  • This iconic is based on the neon model of the grit which unlike most models has about eight different textures. My screenshots show the brown variant but there’s also a blue, black, orange, pink, and probably more.

Salamander (Saratoga):
  • This SMG is a variant of the M221 Saratoga
  • This Saratoga variant is heavily inspired by the pre-2.0 patch Fenrir SMG. It fires explosive rounds with a high chance apply burn on your targets. To offset this it has increased recoil and reduced overall handling.
  • The Salamander is based off the neon variant of the Saratoga and as such has two skins it can spawn in: a red one and a blue one.

Orochi (Masamune):
  • This assault rifle is a variant of the HJSH-18 Masamune.
  • It comes equipped with the same iconic mod as the Cheetah Iconic Unity that you can get in Phantom Liberty. This iconic ability increases bleed and critical chance the closer you get to your target. Additionally it has a 10% chance to apply bleed with each shot.
  • The Orochi sports the Trauma Team themed skin of the masamune and as such only comes with the one texture.

Ammonia (Kyubi):
  • This assault rifle is a variant of the Tsunami Kyubi
  • It canonically smells horrible.
  • This rifle sports a unique iconic mod that I made from pieces of the Divided we Stand iconic sidewinder as well as the Hercules 3AX rifle from phantom liberty. Each round fired deals chemical damage with a chance to apply poison. Additionally, each round has a 25% chance to explode into the same chemical clouds formed by the DWS sidewinder and biochem grenades.
  • It's almost like a chemical grenade launcher.
  • It was inspired by the brownish pimp variant of the Kyubi that I think looks like actual dung. Regardless, the Ammonia comes in the pimp model of the Kyubi which has that gross brown skin that I love as well as a sleek black and gold themed one.

Valentine (Crusher):
  • This full auto shotgun is a variant of the Militech Crusher
  • It sports the same iconic mod as the Padre’s iconic liberty pistol Seraph. As such it fires thermal round and each successive shot into a target increased your chance to apply burn. Once a target is burned rounds will deal increased damage to that same target.
  • The Valentine comes in the pimp variant of the crusher which has two possible skins: a sleek gold and black theme or an equally sleek polished wooden and black theme. I really think it's got a great Valentino vibe to it.

Reverence (Igla):
  • This double-barrel shotgun is an iconic variant of the DB-4 Igla
  • It sports a similar iconic modifier as the smart pistol Ogou that you can acquire in phantom liberty.
  • It sports a higher chance to dismember your foes, has a small innate chance to apply bleed, and each dismemberment will increase critical chance and your chance to apply bleed.
  • Reverence demands respect and as such is based on the pimp model of the Igla. It has a chance to spawn in two textures: gold and black or a pale ivory and silver theme.
  • This one was a lot of fun to test, and performs well even without much investment in shotgun themed perks.

Pathfinder (Satara):
  • Finally the Pathfinder, a classic iconic variant of the DB-2 Satara
  • This thing is a monster, it sports an iconic mod reminiscent of the Mox variant of the Carnage and the Headsman variant of the Tactician. A much tighter and more predictable bullet spread, increased handling, higher effective range, and a higher headshot damage multiplier. If that wasn’t enough for ya, this beast has room for your own personalization with two mod slots for whatever additional mods you might want.
  • The Pathfinder comes in the military style of the Satara and as such has two possible textures. A rubbery matte green or a sleek black with a classic wooden sock.
