In the files, I changed the keybind values. A and D now turn at 0.7 (ie. 70%) while Q and E turn at a full 1.0 (ie. 100%). Additionally, I added a mouse button (remapped to the Comma) and set it to 0.0 for "walking speed". When the key combinations are pressed their values are averaged. Doing this allows me to typically make right turns at 35% (Comma & D), 50% (Comma & E), 70% (D) and 100% (E) depending on what keys I use. Controllers have this variation built in; keyboards do not.
(Sidenote, It is possible to reach a wide variety of turns from -100% to 100% (full left to full right) depending on which of the 5 keys are pressed, but most are far too difficult while moving. E.g. pressing E & A ((100-70)/2) makes a 15% turn, pressing E & D ((100+70)/2) makes a 85% turn.)
This variation solves CP77's default keyboard driving problem when turns don't adjust to the speed travelled. You make all turns at 100%. It is as if the steering wheel doesn't feel the road. In real life the faster you go, the less you want to turn the wheel. Watch any YouTube driving video of this game on a PC with a keyboard and you will see why oversteering is a bad thing.
I am still adjusting the numbers, But with this the Apollo ("Scorpion") motorcycle is easily drivable for the chase quest but every vehicle drives better with this method.
Thanks I been using this mod since it came out, and totally met my needs. There are many others do the same thing, I tried one that has more endorsements and it was fine too, but this is the first one I tried and reinstalled it. It is all I need. Cars and bikes feel so much better.
To comment on others I read here that say they want them to feel like GTA. Nothing can top Rockstar guys. This game was not meant to beat Rockstar at there game. When the devs talked about NPC's in the game at E3 years ago, they wanted to provide a look and feel of a being in a living world. Cyberpunk does that really well. No one can beat Rockstar at the level of AI found in GTA5 npc's. They have tons of dialog programed in. They also had an army of thousands of people with years of talent. So be happy with what it is. Cyberpunk 2077 is truly a great gaming experience, and the car designs are more detailed and better looking than GTA ever had. I think so much complaining was by folks that over expected it to be like GTA5. Don't think any company has the budget to beat Rockstar. Cheers!
I feel like this is actually pretty underrated. Cars went from hovercrafts to feeling pretty decent, the bikes became a bit too snappy but nothing one can't get used to.
Idk why people keep trying to get this game to drive like GTA V, GTA is WAY more advanced, mods aren't going to fix basic physics.
I don't know which GTA V you have been playing but that's untrue.
In GTA you actually feel the weight of the cars, even if its not the focus of this game it needs work in combination with a better minimap and path finding.
Lmao as someone who has over 4k hours in GTA 5 myself. Turst me, the driving is not the same asdriving in GTA V. It for sure reminded me of it when I first started. I guess maybe if you turned sliding cars on in gta than its similar. but no, driving in gta is still way better. you can tell they were trying to go for the same feel as gta though
Yes, it's "exactly the same"... SMH. Is this a really bad attempt at trolling?
Here:
Seriously, even GTA 4 as a whole (not just driving, but "ragdolling" also) is better than GTA 5. Can't even compare any of the two with Cyberprank, which is just a joke in regards of physics:

So far the best and least intrusive handling mod.
