Do you know where it is and what the name of the font size file is? I want it to appear smaller in the game options to capture video. I know there is a file to change that but I can't find it, thanks.
hey ! Your guide is incredible and very useful, do you know where I can find the lang_en_text archive file in WolvenKit? I've been trying to search everywhere but couldn't find anything
this will be rather useful for me, I wanna convert all subtitles into overhead format, due to my disability, I have a 720p monitor and I need as much sreen real estate I can get
Thanks so much for this. After getting permission from CDPR to use their voice files for a Skyrim mod I'm making this was just what I needed.
Now this just leaves me having to go through the process of semi manually listing all the subtitles for all the saints row 3/4/gooh voice files I have decided would be worth keeping and aren't covered on the wiki subtitle pages.
How did you get permission? I'd like their approval on something aswell, but its not for another game, just a mod created for CP2077. That edits voice files.
If you're using cp77 assets for a cp77 mod and not a mod for another game using their assets, I doubt there would be an issue though I'm not 100% sure if there's exceptions so don't act on my statement alone. If you want to check out their policy on mods check this link out which talks about fan content which includes mods. I got permission by emailing and giving them a summary of my mod and saying why I want to use their assets. So if you want absolute confirmation, just email them asking for clarification.

We’re happy for you to make mods for our games (i.e. software that modifies or works with our games – e.g. changing the UI or adding new mechanics) so long as it doesn’t breach the relevant game’s EULA (e.g. no cheating – this is especially important for GWENT!). If you want to make a mod for another game or service using our content, or make the mod a standalone product, ask us in advance via [email protected] (we just don’t want the next Soulkiller virus)."
Edit: You can also ask Zaldiir (https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?showuser=423040) who you are directed to ask regarding nexus' porting content page as well and they can tell you if you should ask them or if you don't have to. bottom of page here: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Porting_content
This is amazing, thank you! How did you manage to convert those JSON files from the lang folder? The instructions you linked got deleted and I would really like to know how to do it myself with the other languages.
Hey that's awesome! Could you explain in more detail how you did this? I'm still stuck with those strange .json files extracted from the lang.archive. I would like to do the same with the Japanese subtitles.

I do have one question, just for clarity's sake.
By altering the text in these files, and putting the files back, does the screen text change?
P.s. Nicely done. This is what drew me to NexusMods in the first place. Attempting to change in-game text.
Cheers

A man can dream can't he? :)
The quick response is much appreciated
Cheers!
