Just tested it in Dogtown and for me it's slightly worse with the mod. Without the mod there is a single shadow flicker when walking towards NPCs, with the mod it flickers more often. It's not a huge difference but it's definitely slightly better without the mod.
don't know why but this is not working unless i rename the file and replace the " " (spaces between words) with "_" (underlines). Also your mod is not compatible with F80Hs mods, when main-story-npcs are looked at, but from a considerable distance, ~~10-15meters+, the clothes clip through the skin especially the enhanced parts. once you get close they revert to "normal" moded state, with nothing clipping. and they revert back to the no-clip-state ( i don't know the tehnical terminology for this;) ) also when you look at them when zooming in to them from far away, like ~10meters+. via zooming you can see the transition from clipping clothes to not-clipping clothes.
Hey there. I was looking for a LoD mod since vanilla comes with a lot of NPCs LoD pop-in. Will this mod also iron out that a bit or just fix the PT glitches?
This seems to be the happy middle ground for my rig. It removes the jarring LOD pop-ins on NPC on all but the most distant NPCs. If you're looking for the proxy mesh change you'll still spot it, but it's rarely noticeable in actual gameplay. The shadow bug is almost completly absent even in large crowds.
I've been using the lightest version of NVflods for ages (and loving it), but it's dialed up a bit to much for me. So far this seems to fairly close to perfect.
Just out of curiosity, how different are the settings in comparison to NVflods?
I went with a mostly straight 2x the vanilla numbers, NVFlods non-ultra is roughly 4x the numbers, enough to cause bugs. NVFlods ultra takes it further by going with 10x the original settings, causing further bugs. Engine can reliably handle 2x, no more than that.

any tips?
It clearly says on the description page
Warning: This will not be compatible with NVFlods or any other mod editing the same file, remove/disable them before you use mine.

It only affects NPC eyes as far as I'm aware, but better to be safe I suppose.
