Feels a bit too powerful especially for when you get it IMO. Just one or two bleed effects makes you effectively immortal even if you spam overclock on very hard
I've never tried (or thought about in the first place) using it in conjunction with overclock, but I agree, it is overpowered even without that combination. Usually I do an entire playthrough with my more complex weapon mods to see how they behave at different levels and with additional skills/perks, then tweak it on the go, but only in a single build. I was biased with this one, also I left it overpowered because in a pure run-and-gun playthrough the fact wasn't to the detriment of having fun (which is my number one goal for complex iconic weapons: to constitute to a fun playthrough), so I didn't tone down its abilities. Tremere scratched the OP itch, I don't think I'll ever make another weapon this powerful.
If you have More Mods More Fun - Any Weapon Any Mod installed, that mod is explicitly referencing vanilla game mod slots and possible assignments, rendering custom mod slots (like those in Tremere) unusable to anything other than the generic (ranged) mods like Pax, Better Half, Equalizer, Shuffler. You need to disable "More Mods More Fun - Any Weapon Any Mod" for your playthrough with Tremere.
If that is not the case, then it is an incompatibility with another mod you have installed, which I cannot debug.
Glad you like it! We don't really know much about the Tremere clan after the Pyramid was decapitated in 2008, but before that one of their 2 chantries in Asia was in Tokyo, also they were the only clan seriously vested in keeping their foothold there, and now this weapon found on Saburo... who knows
OldManMonza: Coming to think of it they might already be in NC, hiding among Maelstrom. They are quite tech savvy, their sense of humor and appearance also checks out
