Update 3.4 - Finally added garment support to the scar and tattoo meshes. Expect some clipping on the shoulders (which belong to the arms), because the game really doesn't want to morph the arms or flat feet or first person meshes.
The solution that has worked for me so far is to give priority to your file over all the others, renaming the file by placing an exclamation mark ! at the beginning, leaving it like this: !2bt_vtk_garment_support_fix__body.archive
Tried the fix suggested by Jmolinares03 but the situation is worst for me. For me the culprit seems to be Arasaka cyberarms, disabling this the conflict is gone and also the glitch.
I know them thanks. Also very good mods, but since the cyberarms are managed as clothes in some occasion the game removes them and kinda break the immersion.
For now I'm trying CYBER LINE ARMS that manages the cyberarms as a tattoo.
I have to admit I'm stumped. If it happens without clothes, it should happen 100% of the time. No idea where to even begin looking for an error like that.
Me neither, I've tried to remove all the possible mods that could conflict but every now and then still happens. In any case its not a big deal, usually a quick save and reload and disappear.
I'm also reporting in with this bug. Like grail79, I can finagle it to behave after a saveload or three, but it may come back if I savescum (like at a vendor repeatedly to reroll their inventory) I have also noticed that the 1stperson mesh doesn't seem to be deforming when wearing an outer torso article that deforms the inner torso article, but deformation will still occur properly in thirdperson cases like photo mode or inventory screen.
You mean the issue shown in the first screenshot? This discussion left me with the impression that that's due to some incompatibility.
As for the FPP clipping issues I'm afraid there seems to be very little I can do about that. I went back to this many times now, but nothing I did had any effect on it. In my tests the issue is exactly the same with just vanilla assets actually.
Remembering something from Skyrim modding, this looks somewhat like a polysplosion that happens when the vertices between a _0.nif and _1.nif pair of apparel meshes doesn't perfectly match or are out of order between each other. Could there be some similar mismatch between two meshes here that should be identical in such a manner?
Mismatched vertices is a thing, yes. I only know that between base mesh and morphs, though. Like garment support, small breast and big breast morph. That causes a kind of meshplosion that isn't contained to the shape of the mesh like in the picture, though. I have seen that "contained" meshplosion as well, but I'm not sure what causes it and I haven't caused it for quite a while. And I haven't seen it on the current version of this mod ever.
If you (or anyone) ever sees this in photo mode and happens to use AMM and Appearance Creator Mod, please take a moment in ACM and disable chunks off the body mesh (it's the one starting with t0_000). The meshplosion should disappear with one specific chunk disabled (together with related submesh ofc). If you tell me which chunk it is, I'd at least know which submesh is at fault.
Hello, I seem to have the same problem I've seen someone post here before, problem with the neck and hands with the UNIVERSAL SKIN TONE mod even after installing your updated mod. thank you
Is your V wearing anyt GS-enabled clothing on that screenshot?
You can try with the updated package, but if that doesn't change anything, there's very little I can do about it. Garment Support does make already existing seams a little more pronounced. To influence that seam I'd have to mess with the maps and head mesh, which is more invasive than I'd like.
It seems the toggleable feet system for the VTK body is malfunctioning with this mod in place. I tried to use Alt Boots but got an intermittent (mostly present) polygon explosion completely obscuring the view when in 1stperson game mode. Inventory and photo mode did not have the problem.
Thanks for your report. I just ran into this myself last evening and I have honestly no clue what's going on there. Double-checked all the morphs, but they seem fine. Anyway, since garment support doesn't even seem to work on the feet meshes (or arm meshes), I simply removed the offending meshes for now.
I have a problem, probably not related to this mod, but I'll leave it here in case anyone knows what the cause might be, in first person(im using Immersive First Person) it looks like this, there is clipping when I place one item of clothing on top of another:
But for example in the inventory, this clipping problem is not present:
I just checked the first person mesh and sure enough I lost the garment support morphing there. :/ Don't have it in any of my Blender files either. Fun times. So I will redo that at some point in the next couple days.
Buuut, that's clearly a rig mod there and I won't support any issues people have when using rig mods on top of this mod.
I removed my mod rig, I just put vtk body and face and above your mod in v3.2 to test your fix in fpp but I still see clipping, I don't know why but I'm reporting it:
I fear at this point it's not the body mesh that's at fault here, but the clothes. I tried with a couple combinations and it seems V's shirt has suboptimal garment support. I don't know why, but in most cases these issues become especially visible in first person perspective.
This is not a jab at the devs btw. The quality of almost all the vanilla stuff is very high and getting garment support right on clothes is probably one of the most fiddly things in this game.
Hello Thanks for your mod. Just curious if your mod conflicts, if i use the following mod that requires VTK, but without the Unique V Rig. Modest Body Lite
I don't think there's any problem since it's a rig mod so it will increase size both in the body and in the clothes, you should try it yourself and tell us what happens, by the way, if you do not use the unique V rig, the mod you want to put(Modest Body Lite) will not be applied, since the unique V rig is the necessary framework for the rigs to be applied
Unfortunately the neck and back area looks ugly, I am using "UNIVERSAL SKIN TONE - Realistic Textures", I have already tried with VTK Vanilla HD - Garment Support V3.0, V2.1 and V2.0 and it just does not look good, here is a sample:
Well, damn. QA must have missed that, sorry. Please try now. I made a couple improvements, so it should be a lot better now. There's still a slight seam in that area. It's more visible in character customization, but not so much in the inventory. I may revisit that at a later time.

brutalbuzzler2 Sometimes these errors appear with the 3.0 body, I noticed it when starting a new game. With the previous ones it doesn't happen to me. It should be said that I am also using this mod UNIVERSAL SKIN TONE - Realistic Textures - Complexion - 72 skin tone - VTK KSUV - Any Body It used to work fine but now this happens. I hope you can solve the problem.

I've to find an alternative I'm afraid.
grail79 If you have cyberarms try with this Valentino Cyber Arms for Masc and Fem V with support for UV and VTK body mods. This modder has some good ones and here is another option Cyberarms Collection 2.0 - Archive-XL
For now I'm trying CYBER LINE ARMS that manages the cyberarms as a tattoo.

I see, well thank you for the answer! :)
