Mind adding a picture of your V ! Its always cool to see :3
Just try it and A / B the screenshot. It will have a difference for sure, but does it worth it for you? idk ! I mainly add this version because its my original texture size work and as i remove my project once they re done, nexus keep the original texture safe for me ;)
Thanks for your reply! I've compared it at zoom levels of dozens or even hundreds, and I didn't really see any obvious differences between the two. It might be because of my 2K monitor. Also, I've given up on using 8K since it makes my game run noticeably less smoothly compared to 4K. I really like this version of the face combined with your freckle mod; it makes my female V look so realistic. Thanks a lot!<3!!
I always liked your skin mods, but i do feel like some roughness could be in order. Path Tracing dilutes the maps underneath the ALBEDO ones.
Could there be a IV Universal Skin or complexion mod that mimics the roughness seen on Unreal Engine Metahumans (5.6)? That, and here's a mere suggestion: would be nice if you can make skin textures in the future that actually are "rough" in the sense of like small blackheads... and details like that. Could make every OC seem like a bespoke Cyberpunk character.
Yes, I would love reaching meta-human quality, but since I'm just taking my first steps in texturing via my CP mods, it's normal that I can't reach that level either yet :)
Of course i will do more textures in the future, when ill get more free time to
And yea i did my previous texture without raytracing, bc i didn't had a good pc to turn it on with quality renders. Now i have a 5070ti, so it will be better to pay attention in RT demandings ^^
Love your skin mods but defo +1 on the roughness, as soon as you zoom out a bit the skin is smoother than silk. Never used the skin without RT+PT though so no comparison for me to make there. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Edit. CyanideX's textured palette fix for Preem skin is about the roughness level I would love with your skin
Well my current body texture file only includes the color map, it doesn’t contain any bump (normal map), roughness, or tintmask textures edit. So what you’re seeing in my mod, at least for the body (because i edited almost everything on head), is just the base color texture (apart from the microdetail layer, which is a separate overlay). The other visual effects like surface definition or roughness come from whichever body mod or framework textures you have installed. That means you're totally free to experiment with other skin texture mods that edit thoses parts, to see if they add the roughness or other effects you better like. Make sure they laod under my file, and you are good to merge them
When I first started this project, I didn’t have the skills to work on the body’s normal map and it was already a big project i wanted to drop out. I didn't expect that much endorsement :o But since then i learn from my face normal edits, and so I’ve started reworking the body detail map, similar to what I did with the face details and it's been looking pretty good. Unfortunately, I won’t have time to continue working on it for the next few months. ^^ But this is something i passively working on :)
I absolutely adore whole collection, but recently found just one con to the whole package, I dont know where problem lies (maybe in me XD) but the jawline is weak and chin together with the throat doesnt produce enough shade, so line of jaw and chin is blending with the neck and it makes a bit unnatural look (in natural and placed lighting scenarios) so I guess complexion dont have enough occlusion under chin, I dont know if it can be fixed or tweaked or maybe it even by design, because I really love everything about everything else but this detail really sticks a bit for Virtual Photography
Yes, I see what you mean. It's mostly because I didn't try to fake any shape using the color texture. Some other modders have done that, creating a clear contrast in skin tone between the head and the body I think it's intentional. For example, with Ava, you can clearly see that the head looks more orange than the rest of the skin. I personnaly not a big fan of this. Because to me its something you can create with good light management, such as real life Also, I was working on the mod without ray tracing, since it tends to smooth out skin details. Plus, my old PC couldn’t handle those settings with good performance. I recently upgraded to a high-end computer, so my future mods will be more detailed and optimized for ray tracing. As for the photo, maybe just try adding a light source that breaks up that smooth line. that’s what I usually do in my own shots. In your picture, the light on the neck and chin is too strong and smooths everything out a bit too much.
Thank you for response, looking forward for new mods from you, you did absolutely stunning job despite limitations, and cool to know some details as to what and how it can be done, I'm thinking more of natural shadow under chin but it probably Cyberpunk limitation on calculating occlusion on V
Another set of 5 head texture (skin type) for V compatible with the body textures from my UNIVERSAL SKIN TONE mod !! Including a new hand sculpted details for her face that offer realistic renders ! :D
I don't want to keep them all on one page — it would get messy with 50 files / 2500 pictures, and I wouldn't be able to properly notify people about new releases + people that don't know my mods will miss it, so they'd lose visibility. And i like creating a new mod page, so no i will not put everything on one mod page
i downloaded and used skintone 3 as seen in the image before. now i want to delete it but i cant find it in my mod file. how can i fix it? (i was dumb! i fix it.)
In Cyberpunk2077/archive/pc/mod Change the file name, mainly the prefix, so that ekt CC file is placed (then load) under my skin texture files, when managing your window view by name.
edit: Here is an actual fix without uninstalling, i used the Conflict Checker Tool to move "##_Arkhe_UniversalSkinTone_HEAD_BROWN_III.archive" above the VTK Head Files.

One suggestion I'd like to make, maybe you could add a comparioson picture to the download folder.
I really hope to see more work of you in the future. :)
I prefer using 8K. I've compared a few times and I can't see the difference, so I think you know more about this.

Using brown body btw
Does this changes skin tones too btw? Or does that happen when I download your original BODY mod?
