New Updates [7-1-25] "Photomode NPCs Extended" mod
Pose packs generated by my tool seem to work fine with the awesome new Photomode NPCs Extended mod.
Its highly likely that I'll deprecate support for the old Nibbles Replacer in a future update. Probably sooner rather than later.
[6-1-25] Changelog V0.92 - Fixes & Improvements Big Rig NPCs - It is no longer possible to select Angy's Nibbles Replacer (legacy 2.13) with Big Rig animation files. Comment: enabling this feature would brick pose packs on modern Cyberpunk installations (patch 2.20) at the expense of supporting older installations (patch 2.13). This isn't something I'm willing to accept. The trade off isn't worth it. [6-1-25] Changelog V0.91 - Fixes & Improvements Johnny Silverhand - The "Johnny" checkbox has now been removed as it was completely redundant. By default, all masc V poses will now work natively with Johnny out of the box. - Aforementioned corrective update (scroll down) is included.
Solomon Reed - Fixed a bug that prevented Solomon Reed poses from being generated in the .YAML file.
Angy's Nibbles Replacer - When selecting the checkbox for Angy's Nibbles Replacer, fixed a bug that randomly caused empty Man Big paths to appear in the .XL file.
Toolbar - The 'Feedback/Bug Report' link will now redirect to the correct URL.
Thank you so much ... i am using WOLVENKIT to export the .anims file, but it is always exported as GLB file unrecongizable by the tool. Can you please help me out here!! I have tried your provided file, which you did while explaining somebody to test out. It totally works.
Since you already have the .ANIM file in WolvenKit, you can just load that in the tool.
GLB files are only useful for when you want to edit the poses within 3D software (Blender) and they need to be turned into .ANIM files (via WolvenKit) in order for the game to recognize them.
Considering that we can now also spawn characters using the Massive rig in photo mode (Sasquatch and Adam Smasher): would it be possible to also add an option for them in the tool? Or are there still technical limitations to adding new poses for them?
I'm 99% sure it's possible. I'll have to check if Blender templates for Massive rigs exist, as those would be integral for creating new Smasher/Sasquatch poses.
I grabbed an anim file from AMM to test this out. First, it has a nice UI and thanks for making it!
The anim file I grabbed is a 5 second long scene, but when I get into game after converting and loading it in PM, it only does the first frame (i think).
Should it play out or is this only for static poses?
It does, very well actually. I have everything set to latest versions (except manual clothing/hair installs maybe). There are also animated facial expressions as well. I like using them in PM to capture those x factor happy accident pics :)
Hi! First of all, thanks for making this! This is an absolute game changer.
Second, I unfortunately haven't been able to use it at all so far. I am having a strange issue where using any anims file (my own, one from another mod, or one from the base game) loads infinitely when trying to load the animations or build the mod. 20+ minutes and it never opens. I have archive.xl's latest version, the game's latest version, .Net is up to date, and I've tried a few different versions of wkit all to no success. Is there something else I'm missing?
Hey there. Sorry to hear that. Let's try to work through it.
Let's start fresh. 1. Download the latest WolvenKit CLI (here) 2. Delete the existing version of my tool and download a fresh copy (here). 3. For testing purposes, let's use "photomode__female__idle.anims". You can search for it within WolvenKit but for the sake of convenience, i've uploaded it here.
In my tool, set the WolvenKit path to the WolvenKit.CLI.exe that you downloaded. Again for testing purposes, set the Mod Name and the Category Name to "Test" and set the Username to "TestUser". Then, try pressing "Load Animations" and let me know how you go.
Hi, thank you so much for the response! I hadn't realized Wolvenkit CLI was different from regular Wolvenkit (I am brand new to modding 😅). It totally works now! I appreciate you taking the time to help me. So excited to use your awesome tool!
Hi there. Just letting you know that i've since released a couple of patches that contain bug fixes and improvements so it's worth updating your copy of the tool :P
As a relative n00b, I was able to grab an old replacer pose pack, extract the animation using WolvenKit, load the animations into this tool, delete the duplicates and standard idle poses that hadn't been replaced, rename the poses to something that made sense and bundle it all up into a working add-on pose pack.
WOLV! congrats, buddy!!!!!!!!!! this is such an advancement for pose makers and you’re awesome for making it!!!!!!!!! thank you for all your hard work!!!!!!!

But to be honest, I'm not 100% sure if the games Photomode system supports animations.
Alternatively you could make an AMM pose pack with my other tool (AMM supports animations).
PM can handle animations now, the Naughty Animations series work very nicely.
I did a quick check with the time setting to 5, no joy. Will play around and see if I can get it to work.
It seems like Naughty Animations is built around a custom framework (M.P.A.F. - Multi Pose-Pack and Animation Framework), though it hasn't been updated in a bit.
Do you know if Naughty Animations still works with the current game version?
