Nice animation! Do you plan on adding more versatility, or is this the complete mod. There is another mod that also aims to improve the animation for third person play, and i was wondering if you were aware of the project. The have a more stable implementation, but your animations looks nicer. Do you think you would ever be open to possibly make a patch that could work with their mod?
This is the mod in case your are interested. Either way, i enjoy the mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/16858?tab=posts&BH=0
Hi yes I know about that mod, that author had posted a tutorial on how to edit animations and this is how I learned to do it and thus create this mod. The whole goal of mine was to make the female V idle stance and walking animations sexy feminine as to the default. Third person animations are very clunky and shooting in TPP is not really an option as it is extremely awful looking so I don't see the point of making any other changes to the animations as it is limited as well and CD Project Red still has not released proper modding tools to further improve/create mods.
did you correct or not the animation with the firearms???? because in 3rd person when you take a weapon the arms become spaghetti and the problem is that it bothers me if one day I want to finish all cp2077 in 3rd person you understand?
Unfortunately this is a whole big thing, you see CDPR made the game for first person, so any third person gameplay is modders trying to wrestle with something that wasn't designed to be viewed that way.
The thing to understand is that the body you see when you use the tpp mod, the shape of it designed not to be viewed from third person but from first person only. So like with holding guns or swords out, the developers didn't care about whatever distortions that necessitated in the body, because it was never meant to be viewed in third person, only in first person. That's why it looks a bit weird in other ways (e.g. the longer arms are designed to be viewed from fpp so you get the sense that you have arms and a body, and aren't just a floating camera; similarly for the shoved-down torso, again that's meant to look good from fpp only).
Modders have been trying for years, but it's not likely to ever be done properly unless CDPR gets involved. Short of that, probably the best that can be hoped for is continual refinement of world exploration in tpp, but combat always shifting into fpp.
It works, but it's .. weird? Not sure why this happens (or maybe it's intended), but V's upper body swings significantly and her arms are robotic and very stiff, it looks very unnatural unfortunately. This issue is especially killing the long-haired V because the hair swings wildly like a pendulum with this motion.
You still have my +1 because hardly anybody touches TPP these days - and maybe it's just some setup issue on my end (although I'm positive I got all the deps working correctly)
I also have this issue the upper torso is super robotic and non-realistic. However, I saw a female NPC walk and the animation was great on that and properly working without any weird upper torso movement. I also dont have any mods that modify the arms but do have different body texture and the High heel model.
The work and hours put into this must have been long and arduous, I greatly appreciate your sacrifice. With that said, is there a way you can shorten the loop on the animation to fix that weird split second where V's arm swings higher than usual (more noticeable by the right arm)? It can be seen in your gif preview but it's even more flagrant in game. If it's unclear what I mean then please look at your preview of the mod during the second before V's hair flips up. If this is something that can't be fixed then that's truly unfortunate. CDProject really needs to give some more leeway to modders so this game can really shine like Cyberpunk was meant to.
Thanks, wish animations were easier to work with but hopefully in the future CDProject can release a construction set of somewhat so modding can be easier.
