Would you be able to do a drift mod for the "Honda NSX Type R NA1 Liberty Walk" by SDH0?? XD (I would legit be open to paying for your time to do this if you'd like)
hi! what about line 97 "maxWheelTurnDeg"? does it work that way or is this a spelling mistake? also out of curiosity: why did you change "total_mass" but not "chassis_mass"?
Lines(commands, parameters?) are copied from other handling files original or CVE. I did not invent any of those lines, as i'm not 'the dude' when it comes to that. Just raw dog mix and matching different settings, values, and trying not to crash the game. As for why it's bigger than before - drift cars have bigger angle for better control.
Other than obviously real drifting, my inspo for this were GTA:O drift cars. Using a mod menu(proud of that, sorry) i looked up the handling values and was able to manually driftmod any vehicle. That's why there's 35/65 weight distribution and 75 turn angle. If it's possible to add 4x4 with 20% front and 80% back power distribution, then i think it's possible to achieve that very-easy to control drift like GTA:O cars have. But currently i enjoy hard "try again" nature of this mod : )
Second question - i don't know, i'll try that.
I'll make a video soon when i link some good corners. Honestly tried but it's harder when recording, you know? Very similar to skateboarding in a way, haha.
