I am currently not planning to improve or fix any bugs, which are not "game breaking". This has various reasons, but mainly I just lost the motivation to play Cyberpunk but also to code anything at the moment.

If there are game breaking bugs, please pm me since I barely look into this thread. And thank you to all the people who still keep using it  :)

Not sure this post will matter after the sticky from author, but I don't think it's working in 1.61 because nothing I do gets the drop-off location revealed. Can't find it on the map, in/out of listed vehicle several times and nothing happens and the vehicle was carjacked originally, so it's definitely stolen and I don't own a different version or anything. Deleting this mod until reply or update.

      It's sad to read this.
We need update for patch v1.62.

If we just hold out until September, this sort of mechanic is slated to be included with PL.

I agree I have just started to use this and can not resize the mission options box that opens when going into cet so I can't even select any of the setting options it is such a shame because it looked like a good mod

Hello, could there be any plans to work on this for the 1.4 patch? This is such a great mod, it's a shame to not have it available!

Either way, thanks for your work :)

    Thanks for this nice mod.

If someday you fix something which is game breaking, can you please add the vehicle ID under his name in CET ?

    It could be really helpfull.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's already implemented in Appearance Menu Mod

Unofficial Patch to Fix This Mod Post 1.2 - Outdated

This is an unofficial patch of two files to fix this mod until the author can correct the various update needs and so forth. This was a fine hammer attempt, not a scalpel, so some niceties of the mod (like its main GUI) are not available. May or may not reset your key binds for this mod so just resave them. Enemies are enabled, and no, can't kill them with the mod until the author fixes it for patch 1.2. If the enemies are unkillable because of game engine spawn points, you'll have to abandon that particular car and reload the mod using CET.

    • To load a new set of cars after you deliver one, Reload Mods using CET, then get into any car.
    • This also fixes the problem of the enemies being Mox, who cannot be engaged at all in the game. I replaced them with Tyger Claws instead for that sub district.
    • Token system may seem like its really pushing all at once after defeating the enemies as it doles out the rewards. It's fine. This is fine. ;)
    • Window sizes and such are whatever they are. Adjust them as best you can.
    • Don't want to play with the mod? Delete the mod's folder. Done.

Drop this set of sub folders in your main 2077's bin subfolder. It will ask to replace the init and enemies lua files. Those are the two I adjusted.

I made a hotfix, which hopefully fixes the loading issue and the Mox problem. Thank you for your fix, since I am barely active anymore :)

I'll go ahead and remove mine as it was a hammer. The GUI doesn't open as well in mine. Thanks for the update!

    BMYC 0.32
CET console: Mod BMYC - A car theft mod failed to load!

It looks the BMYC code needs an update too.

The log says line 1834 has this error:

       [error] ...cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\BMYC - A car theft mod\init.lua:1834: ')' expected near '|'

I tried several ideas of my own to fix this to find what it really wanted and where, but knowing jack f-all I did not succeed as yet.

If I am going to the drop-off point with a car and happen to get out when I return to the vehicle the mission will not continue and my only choice is to abandon it and look for another on the current list after resetting the list. I also found that having enemies at the drop-off point also is cancelling the mission. It's a great mod and I will be tacking for further development of it.

I have this problem too relating to getting out of the car. I can only cancel the mission. Getting back into the car does nothing, and can't continue.

How do I change the size of the box in which vehicles are listed and also the Yes No boxes, etc? I use a higher resolution and need a slightly larger font size in CET, but the box is not auto-size I guess!

fyi, instead of a confusing NCPD icon on map for the destination chop shop, I suggest it be changed to look like a “important” quest icon (!) with solid color, just like “Quest Mod” does it (note, if the player reloads, then that map icon needs to be automatically put back on the map).

Also, somehow integrating this mod with “Police Motorcycle Chases” mod would be amazing.

Possibly interesting mod but could you please make it less intrusive?
It pops up with dialog windows every now and then in a middle of action interrupting the game.
Even though I answer I'm busy it then presents me another window with some mysterious tier selection question.
While I only wanted to jump on my bike to move out.
I had to remove it because of that.

      Thanks for your feedback,

the tier selection window means that your bike doesn't exist in my database, so the dialog appears and asks how you want to rate it. Currently you can only disable it by editing the ini.lua and changing the line "OptionCheckCarDb=true" to "OptionCheckCarDb=false" or by just assigning a tier.

I will look into it tho, maybe it is not working as intented.

Edit: Latest release disables the dialog by default.

      Thanks.
      So lets try it again.

BTW: the bike in question is Brennan Apollo inherited from Scorpion after completing a quest.
You cannot buy it - you can only get it as a reward.
Unless you hack for it ;-)

      Great Mod!

is WIP, so just adding some input to help you perfect it.
Just222 was correct in that the "tier popup" is currently more of an annoyance, than a helping part of the mod.
Mostly because we're not understanding what it's for, AND because it pops up as soon as i get into my vehicle.
Perhaps an option in the menu hotkeys to toggle it for user preference.

I also noticed the list of cars to acquire changes.  This is not a deal-breaker but as you look around for a specific model and you find it.  You discover that the model is no longer on the ist.  I realize it's my responsibility to monitor the list, but perhaps not randomizing the list and/or making it longer would help.

and finally, one of the vehicles being requested was the Behemoth.  Is your list simply random choices from the complete vehicle list?

I have tried the other similar mods to yours, and found BMYC is more fleshed out, and closer to being a final product.
Message me, if you'd like testing etc done,  or simply want feedback.

      Cheers

Keep up the good work !

Thanks for your suggestions, they are really helpful since there are some points I haven't thought about.

The tier popup will be disabled for the future, it was meant to fill the database with the car appearance names and their rating, if they do not exist. This was kinda necessary since there are like 600 vehicles, but there are just a few you can find around NightCity, so I had to do it by myself and this dialog just helped me out.

The list shouldn't change anymore with the next update (now it is around 300 seconds) since it will always reshuffle after finishing a mission. I forgot to set it to 0 at one point, since it is not necessary anymore.

The list is completly random but the cars are taken from the database I created myself, which holds around ~40 entries. These entries are all obtainable or kinda marked, if they can only be obtained by quests etc.(so they not taken into the list). The list is by far not complete, but it should cover most of the cars.

Thanks again and I will probably come back at you :)

I completed my first mission. At last ;-)
Thank you very much for adding to the game action.

I believe you need a bit better instructions on playing the quests.
So it's clear where to look for cars, what to do at a destination place, etc.
      What to expect where.
E.g. one of missions failed because car selling option was disabled in the settings.
But I wasn't aware of that and I could not figure it out from a message "return to your car or abort the mission".
I didn't even know what car it was about: the one I stole or a one I owned.
It took me a longer while to find  out what was wrong.

Anyway this mod has a great potential. Looking for more excitement :)

I agree.  The mod should be made silent when you get on or into your own vehicles.
