I don't see why, TAA isn't necessarily related to motion. It uses a "per pixel" sample to generate frames based on previous frames but in each frame the position of the sample within the pixel is different. This should allow it to function without movement, but it does tend to make the image blurry. Perhaps the movement would hide the blur a bit.
I personally don't like the bobbing, it isn't really as immersive as people think. When you sit at your computer and breathe, vestibular occular reflex adjusts your eyes to stabilize the image. Your monitor and items on the desk don't bob up and down as is often portrayed in games.
Also, many people get motion sickness from this type of simulated bobbing. If you google "cyberpunk disable head bobbing" you will see more than one person mention motion sickness.
That option only appeared after I manually set it to 0.
I read several posts on steam that people had it disappear unless they plugged in a controller. I don't have a controller so I tried a few mods that supposedly disabled the bobbing but they didn't work. Then I looked at the settings file and changed it manually and when I started my game the option was showing again and the bobbing had stopped.
makes that toggle into an actual slider, since "on/half/off" isn't especially fine control, and then
makes the running bobbing animate faster, so it actually matches the cadence of the player's steps. As it stands, the bobbing is about 15% out of sync (slow) and it drives me up the wall.
