You could add unique varieties to the game like some fire bullets at the same but have lower damage but faster fire rate such as using burst pistols. Some have exploding rounds and the rounds are bigger but shoot slower and high recoil if weapon handling is not high enough.
Perhaps in the future you could add dual wield to every gun and even knives someday. But dual wielding heavy weapons require high strength stats. Weapons would need to have a weight mechanic that is linked to weapon handling. Heavy revolvers need enough strength to hold them or your are gets tired faster. Increase stamina capacity to use and increase reflexes for accuracy which increases critical chance.
Or something that makes weapons more realistic when being used. Weapon handling isn't that detailed. I also miss the old skill tree and perks that are removed. I haven't found a mod that adds crafting skills, cold blooded and athletics tree in the latest version of the game. The ability to put all your perks in the last skill such as crafting to sell was broken but a easy way to make money. Not to mention the damage buffs and perks that were useful.
Adding a extra animation for dual wield that replaces the single grip animation when the game detects two pistols would be nice. Also, does it add a modified pistol to the game in your inventory or stash?
Since Jackie does actually dual weird his pistols, seems that the animation exists so shouldn't you be able to use Jackie's akimbo weapon anim and apply it to V for using two weapons and possibly use a special keybind to fire the secondary weapon? Thoughts?... Also the pose where Jackie aims both pistols for the inventory screen would be awesome 👌 instead of the three arm V. Seems that all the dual wield anims for Jackie could be used as he also has read anims...🤔
The issue is that first person and third person aren't animated the same way. So the third person animations for akimbo exist, at least for his guns, but not first person. For first person view, most games actually toggle off the body and toggle on a separate pair of arms. So really you're just a camera with arms most of the time. In multiplayer games, its mostly the same way but with that toggle being based on player perspective so that enemies see a whole person, but you only see arms. Its why in so many FPS games you don't have a body when you look down. In 2077 you do, but that body is also detatched from the arms. Its why the Third Person Mod isnt more popular, because the animations look weird with the arms not syncing up perfectly.
yea i like how your screen shots to display the product showing both hands holding each pistal.. but wth when i'm in game both my hands on the one pistal an this black hand holding the sec pistal like am i suppost to believe johnnys hand is coming out of my body... your pictures are false ads.
Awesome mod and thank you! I do have some issues though like I have a third arm on my character in the inventory screen and my characters left arm has what looks like a glitched texture applied to it. Aside from the somewhat odd running animation, it works quite well.
