Interesting idea. Maybe you could create a an inline skate/grinding mod? The earlier versions of Cyberpunk had a glitch, where if you jumped on things like railings, you would slide off of them as if you were grinding with inline skates/soap shoes. Annoying at first, but actually a bit fun when you got the hang of it, and it also let you get around a bit faster when you were over-encumbered. Maybe you could create something similar that lets you glide across the road when activated, similar to how skates would, lets you grind off of edges and railings, and wall-ride? I think it would make a cool mod.
My initial goal for this mod was sonic the hedgehog/pinball
But I couldn't figure out how to fully rotate the camera (pitch, roll). Since then I've figured out more, but not perfect. I was going to make an airplane mod that utilized full camera rotations, never finished it (I'm working on flight for vr right now, will use some of the stuff I found when researching the airplane mod)
Also the wall running parts - low flying v sends out grids of ray casts along the 6 directions (maybe just 5), each hit becomes a repulse point. I can get away with it when the forces are high, but wall running, ledge grinding require a lot finer meshes. I was going to do that for wall hang, never got that far
But yeah, turning night city into a tony hawk game would be pretty fun :)

Activate Human Torpedo
I've always liked this mod, still use it quite a bit
Edit: I downloaded antimicro and use that to map the controller
Beyond that, it just listens to move/look and jump (already supports controller)

Smooth keys won't make as big of an impact, but will still help in the tighter stuff
EDIT: After implementing smooth keys, I almost never use them for turning. But it really helps with throttle control and jump
