For those wondering, This Mod was Made because the other mod competitor MaxTac-Black Requires a Mod Known as "Material and Texture Override" which has not been updated in a long time, this is leading to SOME Users Having Persistent Crashes. My mod has requirements you probably already have, Is up to date, and has the OG pure black outfits of Patch 1.63 so no blue trims here. So if You are Experiencing Crashes when using that other mod or like the OG 1.63 Max-Tac, then my mod is for you. :>
New Feature: As of the v2.0 Max-Tac's LOD is No Longer Blue, It is Black/Grey because more Immeresion.
Would this mod conflict with NCPD V Wardrobe? Asking because the mod creator mentions NCPD Wardrobe not being compatable with that *other* Max-Tac Black mod, but nothing about this one. I hope this one doesn't conflict because yours doesn't use Material Override, but I am not really sure.
It should not, as I do not edit textures of Max-Tac merely replace their standard blue outfit with the black version that is already in the games files and does not edit their textures like the other mod on the nexus. If it does cause conflicts (It Shouldn't but in that hypothetical case) let my mod override it.
I truly cannot understand how a staff member of CDPR looked to this cool-looking special op cops in all black like a very tactical Skull squad, etc... be like.
"Oh hey, let's turn their black uniforms to blues shiet!"
ffs... Without saying how they all got black uniforms in the anime too, so why change? lmao.
My guess, and it's just a guess... Red wanted to make them easier to spot and aim at. But I agree, it's immersive that they could hide in shadows and dark spaces.
@TheFatherofPork I've always used Material and Texture Override since the game came out, it uses to be located on another mod page, and I have used the Material and Texture Override (Legacy) v1.2 file from the current mod page for close to 1,000 hours of game play in many different large load orders across many different playthroughs and it does not cause any crashes. Material and Texture Override all so does not need any updates, the last time the games material database files were updated was Sept 25, 2023, and Material and Texture Override was last updated 3 days later on Set 28, 2023.All these comments from these people claiming it causes crashes, those crashes must be caused from their choice of mods that they are trying to use with it or something in particular that they are doing.
