Only disassembles items worth less than $25 (can be tweaked by editing main.reds). This is the vast majority of junk, but keeps the valuable $750 items for selling.
Disassembles duplicates in one go. No need to run it multiple times.
Changed the key to 'Z', since TAB is used for another function now.

Thanks for the neat mod! Please feel free to upload this into your Files section, no credit needed.
This version works with game patch 1.3 and later, unfortunately the base mod only works up to 1.23.
Seems a little specialised... I wonder if I can alter it in to variations for each quality of loot (especially including the option to sell non-healing consumables)... but I really doubt I can get my head around the code since I have no idea what I'm doing XD
When I use this, the game momentarily freezes while I guess the script is running. The duration is directly correlated to how full the junk inventory is.
Then, when it unfreezes, the majority of the junk inventory still remains. It seems like it's only disassembling 1 item from each stack of junk items each time the button is pressed, rather than actually disassembling all junk.
Was not aware of those actually. Seems like this is going to suffer from the same existing bug listed here: https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/scrapper-perk-dismantles-expensive-jewellery.11042402/
Seems like CDPR either needs to introduce a "valuables" category or update their scripts to properly sort through expensive items. I could probably implement some logic here that skips those particular items, but I'm not 100% sure where I'd go to find that list of ID's I'd need, I'll look into it.
In the meantime, this might actually be a better approach to using the perk considering you can choose when you want to disassemble things.
Thanks for this mod! And if those expensive items could be left untouched so they can be easily sold separately that would be fantastic! As it is this mod is still much better than the scrapping perk.

Bump this post occasionally, will you? Folks don't read down the whole thread and miss this post.
Here's a version that works with game patch 1.5 and redscript 0.5 or better: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MBJmGdR2CHwJ0CgMwlZ-1SXL5lne9vQH/view?usp=sharing

Appreciate if folks would give this post a bump occasionally as it seems several of the folks asking in the comments didn't see/read it.

edit: confirmed not working after 1.30 patch
