    Here's a version with a few added features: https://drive.google.com/file/d/16GZyB35NpJH7gRJJ1h5fAOb0uPiif7yK/view?usp=sharing

    1. Only disassembles items worth less than $25 (can be tweaked by editing main.reds).  This is the vast majority of junk, but keeps the valuable $750 items for selling.
    2. Disassembles duplicates in one go.  No need to run it multiple times.
    3. Changed the key to the one used for the World Map's time skip ('T' by default), since TAB is used for another function now.

Thanks for the neat mod!  Please feel free to upload this into your Files section, no credit needed.

This version works with game patch 1.3 and later, unfortunately the base mod only works up to 1.23.

Seems a little specialised... I wonder if I can alter it in to variations for each quality of loot (especially including the option to sell non-healing consumables)... but I really doubt I can get my head around the code since I have no idea what I'm doing XD

When I use this, the game momentarily freezes while I guess the script is running. The duration is directly correlated to how full the junk inventory is.

Then, when it unfreezes, the majority of the junk inventory still remains. It seems like it's only disassembling 1 item from each stack of junk items each time the button is pressed, rather than actually disassembling all junk.

Was not aware of those actually. Seems like this is going to suffer from the same existing bug listed here:
      https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?threads/scrapper-perk-dismantles-expensive-jewellery.11042402/

Seems like CDPR either needs to introduce a "valuables" category or update their scripts to properly sort through expensive items. I could probably implement some logic here that skips those particular items, but I'm not 100% sure where I'd go to find that list of ID's I'd need, I'll look into it.

In the meantime, this might actually be a better approach to using the perk considering you can choose when you want to disassemble things.

Thanks for this mod! And if those expensive items could be left untouched so they can be easily sold separately that would be fantastic! As it is this mod is still much better than the scrapping perk.

Neat alternative to the flawed scrapper perk. Do the same for hydration items and this mod would be complete :)

Didnt see the button, but noticed that I couldn't add common items through console. Maybe it was disassembling them? Removed this mod and add mats worked again.

The button only shows up if you have junk in your inventory. If you have the scrapper perk you'll never have any and the button won't appear.

Will look into your issue. What specific commands were you running?

      Thanks for responding.
I bet there's a conflict between inventory maid and or simplemenu.

Just FYI I'm using Inventory Maid and this mod is working for me. However I did pull the "main.reds" file out of its "disassembleTrash" folder that it came in and just dropped it right into the r6/scripts folder

Why not just use the scrapper perk?

theres alot of junk that sells for 750 each, they are worth alot more selling than beeing dismantled.
this way you can sell the 750s and disassemble the rest with 1 click
