Back in the 80"s there was this awesome 5th Generation Rock & Roll band called Sigue Sigue Sputnik, it was a mix of Terminator, Blade Runner, Clock Work Orange and Elvis. It would be awesome if there were advertisements of the band in Cyber Punk. For those who never heard of them, watch this on youtube: "Sigue Sigue Sputnik - Love Missile F1-11 (1986)" .  I also recommend listening to their album called "Flaunt it" which had (real) advertisements between the songs!

Good stuff.  How about ads from other "real world corpos?"  SpaceX (Starship Space Tourism, Moon, & Mars Services; + Starlink Netwatch Service, + Neuralink), Huawei (maybe bill it as a Kang Tao company), & Apple comes to mind.  Maybe a "Militech Family of Companies" ad that features Heckler & Koch, Glock, FN, Beretta, etc.

Considering that the world history of Cyberpunk went in a completely different direction from our own in the late 80s/early 90s (including society as a whole collapsing more than once), many *many* companies that didn't exist at that point in RL would even make sense to see in Cyberpunk (unless it's already in the vanilla game).

Apple, IBM, Atari, Sega, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft (some of these were probably bought up by EBM, which was destroyed long before 2077 for crossing NetWatch, and others probably bought up by other corps - for example, I could see Sony or Nintendo - or both! - being Arasaka-owned)

Monsanto and other genetics-related companies might be owned partly or wholly by Biotechnica, if they even exist.

Don't just throw in real-world companies/ads, make sure they also fit with the existing lore and tie them in somehow. Maybe NiCola is a Coca-Cola product and Chromanticore is Fanta, that sort of thing.

SpaceX? Not likely, Cyberpunk already has an equivalent in Orbital Air, which has been around since before 2020.

I work in marketing, and as much of a fart stain all advertising is in our lives, I like this! It feels more oppressive because these are our brands that are the constant noise.  So in a really weird way, I really like this! Nice work, mate :)

Thank you for this very interesting comment!
Indeed, I am thinking of making a version with real companies revisited, maybe even a whole series of mods.
The 2077 commercials make me think of the very satirical GTA V ones, but it seems to me that 2077 lacks an anchor in our time. It's vulgar, it's rude, it's aggressive, it's transgressive, it's very painful, yes, but unlike GTA, well, it's less funny and satirical, and it's too distant to touch us or make us uncomfortable. Besides being extremely repetitive, I never say to myself in front of commercials "hey, I know that", or, "hey, I like that ', or just spend time listening to the radio - way too buggy, I miss the djs and the personnal radio - or the television. I am unable to walk around Night City, although I have strolled for dozens of hours in Gta V, Phantom Pain or Watch Dogs 2. 2077 is more of a different planet than our future. Everything is too much and foreign. The Coca-Cola ad in Blade Runner is great, because it says it's us but in a horrible future.

Mate, "the future" was yesterday. And was horrible. No future.
      Thx for the mod.

    I have a question,

I don't know anything about modding Cyberpunk so I'm curious,  why is not possible to add a thing in the game? I see most mods have to replace things that are already in the game. Will it be possible one day to add things into the game without replacing other ones?

    thanks

Skyrim had the "Creation Kit" to add items and quests,
      GTAV has OpenIV,
"apparently" CD Projekt Red are going to release something for this too..

i dont like the GITS movie advertisement, but i do like the real world corporation ads. they'll definitely still be there 55 years from now.
    Any ads from Tesla?

      I'm kinda agree with "whodatninja117".

GITS movie ads/poster doesn't looks so good, yeah. But Hanka and Cyberdyne logos are fine, but real world corporations like Amazon or Nike make more sense and add way more realism. Logos looks better than poster, it's more subtle !

So Tesla with the Cybertruck is a very good idea, and why not a DeLorean ads ?

      This mod is dope :)
      Endorsed !
