if the leaning isnt working, none of it is working. check that you've had the launcher do the redmod deployment, and if it fails with an error about not being able to move a file then make sure the destination folder it mentions exists.
Do you have the engine RPM/shifting sounds mod, if so I had a similar issue. Really makes the acceleration nuts as I think this mod boosts that bikes RPM and the other changes the shifting and they add together.
Although even with a better handling mod, I find the super handling of the Apollo 650-S not that usable as the quick turns just break the rear end out anyway.
Yeah it seems these two mods conflict with that specific bike. I haven't investigated what I can do about it yet but I plan to because damn does that mod improve the experience. most likely I'll have to comment out parts of the other mod to make a compatibility patch, because the tuning to get the bikes handling how i wanted took some REALLY precise balancing between variables and about a million iterations, so changing anything will change everything. the shift points themselves in the other mod don't seem to be the issue though, i should be able to keep those.
Could you please make a cropped version of this mod with just the SEXY enhanced leaning? The upgraded power of the bikes makes them way too wild and unusable for me. They become uncontrollable for me in the short confines of Night City, it most likely is a skill issue i know.
Or release please a lesser 25% or 50% version the acceleration is way too insane, flesh markers are a gory business.
The leaning, which is pathetic in the base game, is absolutely gorgeous and needed.
I'll try to adapt, as it simply feels awesome with Immersive FPP Bike Cam - CyberMotoGP, minus the frequent wall spattering.
It's a redmod mod. You have to put the folder (mods) directly in your cyberpunk main folder.
Afterwards you have to run Cyberpunk via the launcher and make sure mods are activated via the gear next to the launch button in the launcher.
Edit: Ah well, I spoke too early ^^ It worked fine this way for me in 2.13, but 2.2 apparently broke the mod. I'm getting a loading error now:
could not move file from 'C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Local\Temp\C176AE81-429777AE-C45DA1BB-E689E621.tmp' to '"Path_to_Cyberpunk"\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\modded\tweakdb_ep1.bin' Tweak compiler errors: ERROR: TweakDB compilation has failed!
Seems this needs to be updated for 2.2
Edit 2: I got it working. Create the folder "modded" in the following path: "Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\modded"
Be aware tho. This mod introduces an unpleasant animation stutter whenever you lean from one side of the bike to the other. It's ugly in 3rd person and pretty annoying in 1st person.
Sadly, I gave up using this mod due to this. Unfortunately, there is no other mod that's even close to this one but I use a mixture of the following mods now:
-All Vehicles Can Steer (improves turn radius including bikes) -Better Bike Overhaul 2.02 (changes the values, makes them also a bit faster, similar to this mod) -Gripped Up (better traction, makes drifts more controllable) -True Grip (without the optional file because I think Gripped Up does it better, the 2 main files enhance handbreak and uphill driving) -Authentic Shift (for better shift sounds) -Better Camera Auto 2.1 (better FOV, but don't set higher than 70) -Driving First Person Camera Tweaks (for simulated inertia for the camera)
Massively improves driving, but bikes are still more vanilla, than with Bike Overhaul Redmod.
I DONT HAVE THIS ANIMATION STUTTER AT ALL.... the problem is somewhere else. It could be a CAMERA bug, with others mods ;) like...better camera auto... ... ;)
also driving first person tweak feels like a boat.... Sea sickness. Absolutely unrealistic and unpleasant experience.
Weird - I tried it vanilla and could track it down to this mod.
As for Driving First Person Camera Tweaks, there are multiple versions, plus you can edit the init.lua file which I recommend. I used one of the Tiltfix versions as a basis, I think it was DFPCT - Mild - Tilt Fix, and then adjusted the values in a rather long trial and error session. This is definitely necessary, since the default values are too strong and lead to clipping through the windshield in some vehicles when crashing heavily. Here are my custom values which work perfectly fine, no clipping in 100 hours of playing, and enhance the FPP driving by a metric ton in my opinion:
in real life, just slowing down doesnt move your head much... vanilla is also over tuned... i will try yours settings
to go back to the micro stuttering animation... i ride my bikes all the time, and i dont see it... i play on keyboard thoo, by taping the keys. Movements are fine, i expect change of directions to be quick, and at slow speed it looks a bit silly sometimes. But not stutters / animations glitchs on my side
is there any update planned on this mod that fixes the animation stutter when leaning? This mod is fantastic and has no competition imo, because no other mod really fixes bikes. The animation stutter however keeps me from using this mod since it's very jarring in first person.
Anyone here has an idea on how to convert this to legacy? Redmod's not working for me. Multiple tries to clean install the game and troubleshooting which mod was acting up and it's always redmod. Just wanna play with bike using this mod and I'm hoping there's a Redmod bypass solution to get this working.
Yeah, I'd like to know as well. There's a few Redmods on here that I'd like to convert into legacy mods, but whenever I google how to do that I only get results talking about how to convert legacy mods to Redmods and results about disabling auto conversion in Vortex... If anyone has a guide on how to convert from Redmod to legacy, please post it
im gonna be the dumb dumb here and suggest the obvious incase it may have slipped past you in regards to red mod.
Make sure you actually have it installed.
Steam: find it in the store as a DLC for the game even if you do have it added to your library, go to Cyberpunk 2077 in your library, and click its tile to bring up its page. Scoll down your DLC category Click "Manage my DLC" Make sure the checkbox next to RedMod is actually checked. (it has a habit of turning itself off randomly.)
GOG: honestly i dont remember the process but its buried in the GOG launcher settings.
after you know redmod is installed, make sure you check the box in the red launcher for enable mods, next to the play button.
Thx for this mod, it's definitely better than vanilla handling but the bikes are a bit too twitchy on the back wheel for my taste. They also could lean a bit more especially at slower speeds but I guess there are some engine limitations. If I'd ride my bike like in the game I would fall over at every intersection, lol. :D

Not sure what's going on, but this mod's folder structure doesn't seem to match the game at all. Anyone got any tips?

registerForEvent("onInit", function()
TweakDB:SetFlat("Camera.VehicleProceduralFPPCamera_DefaultParams.displacementThresholdForward", 0.02)
TweakDB:SetFlat("Camera.VehicleProceduralFPPCamera_DefaultParams.forwardDampFactor", 0.25)
TweakDB:SetFlat("Camera.VehicleProceduralFPPCamera_DefaultParams.heightDampFactor", 0.25)
TweakDB:SetFlat("Camera.VehicleProceduralFPPCamera_DefaultParams.maxAccelerationTiltAngle", 8.0)
TweakDB:SetFlat("Camera.VehicleProceduralFPPCamera_DefaultParams.maxDisplacementBackward", -0.15)
TweakDB:SetFlat("Camera.VehicleProceduralFPPCamera_DefaultParams.maxDisplacementDown", -0.03)

TweakDB:SetFlat("Camera.VehicleProceduralFPPCamera_DefaultParams.steeringAngleRight", 20.0)
TweakDB:SetFlat("Camera.VehicleProceduralFPPCamera_DefaultParams.steeringDampFactor", 0.05)
end)
Of course, it's up to personal preference, but you can always lower the values if too strong.
