Really great mod - extremely immersive when paired with LukeRoss' VR mod. I've been meaning to suggest this for awhile though: would you consider making enemies' Mantis Blades camouflage along with the rest of their cyberware? The Oda bossfight is pretty awkward when I'm supposed to be looking for breaks in the light to spot him through his camo but his two glowing fluorescent mantis blades are suspended midair lol
So, I think you may want to make the "Free Perk Activations" a required part of the mod 'cause it seems like if you don't have that and the user has their camo activated by a perk then the game crashes. I was playing without that optional file and any time I'd get spotten on by an enemy and my camo would activate my game would crash. Once I installed the optional file the crashing stopped.
I know that's not perfect QA but I was able to repeat it pretty consistently, especially if I was on a bike or something when I got spotted.
Hi, your mod is absolutely amazing. Thanks to it, the level of immersion in the game increases dramatically. It would be awesome if you could expand this mod and make not only weapons but also clothing visible. So that when activating optical camo, the player would have to undress (something like Ghost in the shell). You could also add some military-style gear that supports camo and turns invisible along with the character. I'll wait for this mod
I know you said below that theCyanideX is working on a better visual effect for the camo, but I was wondering if there was an easy way to modify your file so that I could simply turn the visual effect off entirely. For me, it's a bit too uncanny to walk around with entirely invisible limbs or a floating weapon though I like the mechanical benefits it gives.
I've tried poking around in your scripts, but Im pretty ignorant when it comes to lua scripting so I can't intuit which parts to modify so that I can just have the game ignore the vfx but keep everything else. Yours is the only mod Ive seen that actually alters the vfx in any way though.
I love this mod. I dream camo, I eat camo, I breathe camo, I speak camo. It is possible to freeze the cooldown of Camo cyberwares when the user is crouch-sprinting with the corresponding camo perk?
Do you know if there's anything to be done that could replace the hideous visual effect with a nicer refraction? I mean, just a quick comparison with Crysis 1-3 or Deus Ex Human Revolution and man, it's painful to witness. It's just am ugly blur, isn't it?
hi I use this mod( only the partial camo cd )with Optical Camo TweakXL and Custom Quickslots (Consumables Grenades and Cyberware Abilities),all work only with custom quickslots mod,but with optical camo tweakxl only works the cooldown modification ,the duration of camo doesn´t work, seems to youe mod and the optical camot weakxl conflict doing your mod no let change the duration of the camo,it´s posssible to do it work together? changing something in the CamoPartialCD.yaml

is there a way for you to make it so when your out of the line of sight of the enemy and use optimal camo NPC's go back to yellow detection? but they stay wondering alerted? so u can try and sneak again, just seems optimal camo is just a one time use if an enemy spots u and u go back to cover and optimal camo id feel you should still be able to sneak i know how it works based on lore it delays detection so i wonder can u make it so the enemy goes back to yellow and doesnt just magically know where u are?
i havent gotten that far into the game damn i didnt knew there was a perk for that, but I just feel AI knows ur exact location even if u went off the rails and went to a place where it doesnt make sense so i am trynna make a mod to make it more realistic and they cant just immediatble spot u like they live in ur head ahhh

Edit: theCyanideX is working on it :)
