Where is the install supposed to go? do we have to add a new file to our cyberpunk directory with all the individual mods? If i just put all the files in my cyberpunk directory it does nothing
Hey, so, I'm very new to modding, and I know you probably get this a lot, but I'm in a bit of a bind with this particular mod, so idk if i'm doing this right, but I could really use some help. I downloaded the mod with Vortex, and I have everything required for it, including the Hyst Angel Body mod, but the bottoms, shoes and accessories aren't showing up in the Atelier tab. I have some of the other clothes, but not these. Should I not have downloaded using Vortex, or is it something else. I would really appreciate help.
Glad to hear and welcome! You will need to go to the original mod pages for the vanilla fit + a vanilla body such as VTK! You can either check the Virtual Store page for the full list of Ezio's Clothes or you can even click the banners pinned on the posts here, to download the vanilla versions : )
Amazing mods. Is there any chance you could add your XRX Latex Gloves? They're the only thing missing from the catsuit, and installing them separately results in a crash when they're viewed in the virtual store. (edit: crash occurs with angel body mod)
Thank you :) I'm not sure to which latex gloves you are referring to since there are two versions: XRX Latex LongGloves Archive XL and XRX Latex Gloves Archive XL, but I'm assuming the Latex LongGloves - they aren't included as they don't need any refits, since the arms of Angel Body are not modified.
I had recently tested it, to fit them properly with the Catsuit Outfit, and spawned them via the store, and I didn't have any issues with them, even tested in photomode. What I suggest is to make sure all core mods are up to date and check again if there are any files related to any previous installations of the gloves that might be causing issues.
I'm having an issue where many of the icons for the clothing are corrupted or just not visible. This isn't the only mod where this happens. Any idea what might be causing the issue? If it matters, I have most mods managed by Vortex, including this one.
I’m not sure what could be the issue. Make sure Virtual Atelier is updated, all files from these mods are in the correct place (remove any previous installations and install just these refits) and check if your texture settings are set to the highest option.
Not a criticism of these mods or your refit quality, just an obervation.
Hardly any xl mods I download that cover legs will work very well with any other mod that has boots without varying degrees of clipping. Its so rare that I don't have the issue, I just don't bother trying to mix and match the lower half any more, especially between authors, and quite often the same author.
The latex boots here clip with the latex catsuit for me and they always have, not just this conversion. And most heels clip into the hem of tight leggings too.
The only shoes I can consistently wear with modded leg garments and not get clipping are vanilla ones.
edit: and just to add, this is without a rig. I've used all the main body mods over the years and the experience I've had above applies to all of them. I have to assume vanilla isn't quite so affected but its a while since I played with it.
Thank you! I fully understand your thoughts here; modded clothing even if made by the same author won’t fit with each other most of the time. It’s not that this is an oversight, but it’s rather impossible to accommodate everything when creating a concept of garment from scratch or if ready to be ported. Trying to accommodate one thing, will mostly ruin the end result of the garment, and create a bloated look so to speak. Even tho there’s been the development of GS (garment support) not everyone has the time or energy to include this for their mods, it’s a tedious process and it comes with it’s fair share of issues.
Vanilla modded items I’d assume they also have this issue of clipping. You won’t see issues with CDPR items cause they planned before sets of items that are meant to work with each other, but unfortunately, the player as you can compare with NPCs say Evelyn, we can’t own her heeled boots, cause those wouldn’t fit with the items CDPR planned.
So, it is how it is, modders especially can’t do more than they are doing to make everything fit. I can try checking if the latex boots can be adjusted with the latex catsuit without looking like a bloated mess, but no promises : )
i had install this mod 2 days ago but nothing pop up at NC Fashion,, like other mod you done working,, i always read description and do what description says but again nothing changes,, do you have any idea what i suggest to do?,, but really more appreciate your work,, thanks
First off, did you install manually or Vortex? Secondly, the store doesn’t show the clothing when selected and neither the icons are displayed?
What I changed from the original mods is that I renamed the archive files and the .xl file to: CLOTHES - Ezio - Name of mod.archive and CLOTHES - Ezio - Name of mod.xl - so it would be easier for me to manage the files better cause how they are originally i couldn’t keep track. The r6 folders and files, those i kept the same so they can just be replaced when prompted. What i suggest is check if you have the store fully updated, core mods as well. Most importantly, make sure you have removed the previous archive and xl files of these collected mods, as they might cause conflicts.
