YO NICE - i dont have to do it all myself anymore :D could you make the dot a bit bigger and/or somehow increase its visibility? it looks AMAZING now but its not visible enough imo.
also - the vanilla scope has the funtionality to light up the square which you removed - so this funtionality is lost with the square now?
i was thinking of editing this scope myself and wanted to change the big square in a tiny, tiny circle around the dot - so it would light up the dot when on target. does yours work like that or do you wanna make it that way? :)
yeah the square is removed, originally wanted to keep it but it looked weird and more like a rectangle after untilting it. but someone else has asked about bigger dot so i guess ill probably make that version
@dnbnhlp you got a point he! :D it doesnt always fit the weapon tho imo...
@kiraa1216 im running the 150% version for now and LOVE it so much more than vanilla already - looking forward to a version which lights up on enemy tho :)) btw this mod is fully compatible with Preem Scopes in case anyone wondered. worth mentioning in the description!
also: i thought about making the dot more visible against bright background - one way id like to try could be to make it more red. real red dots are - despite less good - still distinctly visible as red when looked against bright background. to have it ALWAYS visible - even against red neon light a tiny black circle without transparency as part of the red dot would be the only way i guess... so against bright light you could see the tiny black circle (red dot outline sized) with good contrast and against dark background youd have the red dot as good contrast. not "realistic" by 2024 standards - but i dont think wed have still sights with visibility issues like that in 2077 anyways :)
i found a way to have the square and have it not look weird and rectangular (was pretty simple idk why i didnt think of it sooner) but im not sure how to keep the square around the reticle without having to keep the squares that are like all around the glass usually, so preem scopes (or whatever mod i had already editing the type2067) would have to be a requirement because i dont really know how to do that myself
way smaller circle - so it basically only lights up the dot while not increasing the size of the dot by much: me neither (green part lights up when on enemy, green color only for explanation purpose in this drawing)
i tried to recreate that pic, but i dont think i can layer the part that glowed behind the reticle so it just looked kinda bad, and the glow colour is the same as the centre of the reticle so i dont really know if i can make it look like that pic
For some reason I don't have an actual dot, no matter which version I install. The square does still show up, though. I've noticed other scopes missing it, so it may not be related to this, but I'm not sure what might be causing it. Any ideas?
After a lot of time diagnosing the issue, I have found that it is somehow related to the Cyberware Stats Control mod. I've disabled it and my scopes work, and I've re-enabled it and tried messing around with a few rerolling of the stats. Some things helped, some didn't, but I have no idea how/why it is happening. I'll be commenting on the mod page there, but I wanted to post this here in case anyone notices that the dot doesn't show on the display of their 2067 initially, or the Handyman shows a red screen or the Jue displays part of the wiring and mechanism behind the lens blocking the actual view, you may have the same problem that I'm having here.
i tried to change the reticle to green (for like the past hour i think ...) but it just REFUSES to change despite everything else changing to being green, i have no idea how to change it sorry :(

dw everybody using preem scope anyways :) or should at least
would you still consider a version with a tiny circle/dot which lights up? :)
idk how to embed images ...
(2 should be possible i think, 1 should also be possible but i have no idea how i would do that one)
