Thanks to tidusMD, I made a script alternative for 'Inside Station' that I've been given permission to share with you guys. I call it Inside Station - Idiosyncratic, check it out!
The features I've added in this version include:
Proximity Detection: Detects player proximity to train stations, enabling proximity-based features like teleportation and UI updates only when player is near the train station maintaining performance.
Teleportation Mechanics: Seamless teleportation functionality within stations, reducing load times and enhancing immersion.
Performance Optimization: Throttled Cron tasks to ensure minimal performance impact when inactive.
*BE SURE TO STILL DOWNLOAD tidusMD's 'Inside The NCART Station - Opening Metro Platform' MOD, ITS A REQUIREMENT*
Can't confirm any crashes with this mod. Tested Version 1.0.4 thouroughly standalone seperately with the necessary reqs and then combined with my 200+ mods and I haven't had one single crash. Only thing that still is a bit wonky is the Farrier & Ferguson Station in Watson. Sometimes there still is a invisible wall and sometimes there isn't.
I recommend you check your mods for conflicts/updates
You're correct, I was using the mod 'Nova City (Custom Weather - Beta)' that has custom weathers that were crashing my game. I messaged the mod author regarding the matter.
Crashes in Japantown is a vanilla issue as well, I’ve been testing this for a while (more common with pathtracing but can happen without this setting, also more common the more hours you’ve got in the save file).
Currently playing with a mod that disables fast travel, so I gave this one a shot and what can I say, it's amazing. Just one of many things CDPR should have included right away, I mean the stations are there, sure some look more finished than other, but still.
Was sceptical if this was working smoothly, but no problems so far. Doors slide open, maps can be interacted with, and there is teleportation for the inaccessible stations as well.
For some reason, when I go up to the map to enter the train, the prompt doesn't show up. Is there a way to fix this. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it hasn't fixed, any help would be appreciated.
One question about 1.1.0: Am I reading the changelog correctly believing you're suposed to disembark the metro inside the station? I've been testing several stations, but still teleport outside the entrance. Just want to make sure before I spend to much time looking for conflicts. I'm still in 2.13, if that matters.
Ellison Plaza, Memorial Park, Congress & MLK will teleport you out of the station when you get off the train as normal. At all other stations, you should get off at the platform. 2.21 or earlier versions may work, but I haven't checked, so I don't know.
Might I suggest 2 things? 1. Perhaps add an option to disable the "Ride Metro" command from the entrance gate. I feel like having it there kinda makes it feel less like if it were a vanilla system. 2. Allow us to choose the metro lines through the doors near the tracks. For instance, instead of walking up to a metro map, we can walk up to where the metro boards from and choose from there.
Just a couple things I feel would make this mod a bit more immersive.
As of now 1.0.7 is completely unusable. The gates are just passable without animation and there is no access to the platforms anymore. Stick with 1.0.6 until that is fixed.
Took a while to figure out, but this mod crashes the game at random points, and also seems to cause a really strange audio bug where you'll start hearing street/ambient sounds from areas you're not currently in, but only when you're moving or the mouse is moving.
Removing this mod and I haven't crashed in 8+ hours, nor gotten the audio bug. Not sure what'd be causing that or what information I can offer to help, but yeah.
Farrier & Ferguson NCART Station in Watson suffers from an invisible wall on my end. Please check and fix if possible.
Edit: Update 1.0.4 fixed that. Thanks! I'll keep you guys updated if I find other walls.
Edit2: Update 1.0.4: Farrier & Ferguson still a bit hit & miss with the invisible wall, due to it being inconsistent in being removed. I'm bypassing this issue by running Open Night City in the All in One config, which deletes some exits at the NCART stations, so i can freely enter every station. Cheers.

After a few weeks the mod just kept crashing near stations (Even with Inside Station - Idiosyncratic mod) when driving so I just removed it.

All in all, great mod ! Well done.
Ps: Writing this while enjoying a metro ride.

Big fan of the new stations by the way.
Thanks.
Thanks again.

Animation is working to get inside. There is a quick cut to get to the platform, but getting to the platform works as well. Thank you!

Also does it just so happen to be laggy/stuttering audio?
