Same question. I am not quite sure how damage red works in cyberpunk, but it def is not additive, which leaves 2 variants - multiplicative or choosing the highest value if there are multiple DR% sources. Either way, it is OP.
Test it yourself and adjust the value as you want choom. For me 7% is pretty useless for damage reduction specially when playing in Very Hard difficulty.
Open the YAML file via notepad++, edit the following below.
- edit the value in line 117
value: 0.000000 ->100%(no damage received)
value: 0.100000 ->90%
value: 0.200000 ->80%
value: 0.300000 ->70%
value: 0.400000 ->60%
value: 0.500000 ->50%
and so on.....
- edit the value in line 122 for the percentage(This is just for display)
The intensity reflected in the game really makes people feel like they don't seem to op, after all, powerful NPCs can still easily kill you in seconds, and even ordinary NPCs can still cause you a lot of damage. It's just that this percentage value looks quite shocking, and people sometimes struggle with whether to install it.
Anyone know how to move this cyberware from skin to nervous system? Okay, i did. it was easy, just put in right place.equipArea: EquipmentArea.NervousSystemCW Cuz, my opinion, 'pain' and specialy 'pain editor' close enough to 'nervous' and far away from skin. :D
You should add a obtaining restriction for all your mods and they are a little more immersive, example: it is unlocked after having level 35 and street creed 40
I think you misunderstood what I suggested. What I'm saying is that cyberware can only be purchased in x or y stores after a certain level or creed, that it cannot be obtained from the initial level, that it be a little more realistic when it comes to obtaining a legendary
Great for a hardcore-modded playthrough, thanks again, also thanks for the explanation below on how to modify the values, very insightful. Do NOT call me choom.
I just noticed something else, viktor does not sell the pain editor, I have to add it manually through CET, but I tried with a more recent game and it appears for sale
Wasn't there an item or perk that turned all damage received into damage-over-time? I kind of feel like that could be a fitting additional variable with like a modest damage reduction, so your 7, maybe 9% damage reduction with attuned pushing it to maybe 15-25%, then also turning all damage taken into dmg over time ticking, seems like it could be an interesting way of making sense of "pain editor" as a cyberware, yes?

how edit the sell price for this mod?
is too cheap to be so over power.
I'll wait until author made a collection and included it to Virtual Atelier.
Thank you
Thanks vanaukas for clarifying.

Any idea what causes it?
