your list is incredible, but using this damn program Archive Conflict Checker Tool is horrible... everything causes conflict, everything is wrong for it "nothing works" just that little red ball remains, causing conflict with another mod and even with itself... It's difficult, I don't know what to do, I'll just have luck with the MO2If anyone can help me I would appreciate it, I would even like to chat on discord
Vortex has a feature where you can add all mods you use into a list that other people can copy to their game making it extremely easy to copy long lists of mods from other people. I don't think MO2 has that feature but idk since I don't use it.
You can link MO2 directly to vortex and download mods and collections that way I downloaded Vortex the other day but forgot I did and deleted it today. I deleted it because noticed another folder made by it with duplicates of all the mods. I should've checked it out.
I just have 1 simply question... Why the hell do you use a mod manager when cyberpunk is probably the easiest game too manually mod? This game is so easy too mod a 5 year old with simple understanding of a computer could do it.
Initially I did. I use a mod manager simply... to manage the mods a lot better. With the amount of mods I currently have installed it is a lot easier to disable and reenable them with a mouse click rather than to manually go into all the folders to uninstall/reinstall them. Like I mentioned in the MO2 section the organizer does not install or touch the game folder rather installs everything on a virtual folder so that you don't have to do a fresh install every time you make a mistake.
It used to be called NMM. I used to use it and then made a switch to MO2 back when I used to mod Skyrim. If Vortex is still NMM, I found it much better to use MO2 for Bethesda games and ME series. That said, some of the useful function I found in the past aren't integrated when modding CP 2077.
The only thing that I Found that needs to be installed manually is CET but that's okay because it's almost an essential mod. everything else can be done through MO2 providing it has the correct installation path.
Vortex is a completely another thing than NMM. Its similar to MO2 but obviously with a different user interface and operating methods.
For Skyrim I would recommend MO2 as mods are much more complex and much more used by numbers. Vortex would be enough for CP and is also easier to use but thats up to you
VERY interesting. I'm close to the end of my current game so I don't want to do any ambitious modding, but I'll track this to see your additions. I plan to put CP77 on the shelf for a while and stream Ghost of Tsushima, but when I return to Cyberpunk I want to do a self-indulgent modded-out game and I really like a lot of what you have here...I particularly like the detailed instructions/explanations of how the base mods work.
Thanks. Not gonna lie, I pre-ordered the game and shelved it for about 3 years and just returned to it this year. I had the last mission on hold and only finished it last night hence why I only have pictures of a my original V who happens to be a female. Much more playable now then when it was released.
There are many mods covering each other in the environment texture. Can you share your loading order? I noticed that the HD rework project ‘losing' all of its archive and 'winning 0'. Does uninstalling it have no effect? Sorry, I use Google to translate.
I tried to include my load order in the download but Archive Conflict Checker Tool couldn't generate one due to MO2s virtual file system. Initially I was hoping for MO2 to be able to view the archives so that conflicting textures could be hidden. The only way to do this; however, is to use Wolvenkit to unpack them then hide them which in itself is quite a tedious task. The simple solution is to keep HD reworked project loaded higher up than the other texture texture mods and as suggested in the install keep the Ultra Texture Remaster Pack at the bottom of your list as it covers more than just environmental stuff. I will be updating in a couple of days as I have added quite a few mods to the list and i will also include my load order whether in text file or pics.
No worries. I found it randomly in one of the NPC stores before I installed AGIS so it's out there somewhere although I can't remember which store exactly. Sorry.
Very nice guide. Thanks for taking the time choom. Always interested to try different setups. There's a few mods in there I haven't tried so will be giving these a go
Thank you and your welcome. It isn't complete yet though. There were quite a few mods and sections I wanted to cover but still making sure they all work together. Will update though.
