Any possibility of also reversing the effect of these legs? I like how sprinting has a momentum-building effect in Dying Light 2, and thought it would be neat if the Jenkins Tendons similarly gradually increased your speed to a point, rather than "decreased" it.
Double jump legs are almost always better, but if you have 2 leg slots due to Cyberware-EX, then the sprinting legs are a decent 2nd option.
In many ways, running a non-iconic melee with 2 Cyclone mods outperforms all the iconic variants. It just requires a sprinting attack every 8s for +70% attack speed as long as you have enemies to hit. The faster sprint speed helps keep targets in range to keep stacking the Cyclone buff, and stamina saved from not dashing gives more for swinging.
I use Cyberware ex mod in override mode and messed with the config. I could if I wanted to get a total of 5 slots for my legs and equip all 5 available leg cyberware at once. Jenkins Tendons is a solid option If I have the points to spare with nothing better to spend it on. You can't go wrong with more speed.
It's my favorite leg cyberware actually, I make use of the extra speed more often than I make use of the abilities granted by other leg cyberware. It also lets you keep going fast for a long time by bhopping. Great for escaping danger or getting to cover. Running faster out of combat is nice QoL too.
