forgiveness for the things I do
but before you come to any conclusions
try walking in my shoes
Cut straight from the pages of a 2013 screamsheet and pasted into your 2077 wardrobe!
These genuine 2010s vintage leather boots feature a modest 2-inch Cuban heel to give you that extra bit of swagger in your walk, as well as other finely-crafted details such as decorative stitching on the gore for style and a buckled strap to keep your boots on during even the wildest shows and/or acts of political dissidence. Cosplay your favourite rockerboy in one of our 9 stylish colourways, or go whole-hog with it and rock a straight replica of the originals.
- aXL addition for both masc V and fem V: 9 new recolours, plus the original version--a one-to-one dupe of Johnny's actual boots.
- the "Johnny's Shoes" item you receive in-game has, for some reason, a scaled-down texture set, less detail, and (for masc V) a reworked, lower-quality version of the mesh that Johnny actually uses. None of that here! Nicer textures and maps normally found on the NPC-only version of the model have been used, and the version for masc V now correctly looks like Johnny's actual boots, including the proper heel height and shape of the sole. Fem V's mesh is untouched because hers was already correct, but her version now also takes advantage of these higher-quality maps and textures.
- fully garment-support compatible with vanilla garments + GS-compatible custom clothes.
- hides feet on masc V bodies to prevent any sneaky clipping
netdir://StealHisLook.web
- comes pre-bundled with an atelier store, StealHisLook.web, for your convenience. Keep an eye out for future updates--there may be more items to steal from a rockerboy's closet coming in the days ahead.
Optional file: bonus fix!
- the optional file will apply my fixes (improved mesh and textures) to the actual in-game quest item you receive (Q005_Johnny_Shoes) from Gig: Family Heirloom. I figured this didn't deserve a full release on its own, but if you (like me) are irritated by the choice to make the player character's version of Johnny's boots markedly worse than the ones on his actual model, you can install this fix either by itself or alongside the Rockerboy Boots. They don't interfere with each-other; this bonus file simply replaces the blocky, low-quality version masc V receives with my retooled mesh, and applies the higher-quality textures and maps to the model for both masc and fem V as well.
