About this mod

Improves the realism of the new Aldecaldos camp (once they moved after the quest Queen of the Highway) with new content and QoL stuff.

There are a few bugs and a long list of new features planned in the mod's roadmap.


This mod purpose is to give you a better experience by improving the realism of the new Aldecaldos camp (once they moved after the quest Queen of the Highway).
Note : some changes also concerns the old camp.
The mod works with all sequences and quests related to the aldecaldos camps.

  • New tent with Panam's workshop

  • Panam and V's tent redesigned to be more comfy and warm
  • V's tent entrance is closable
  • Other's sleeping tents improved (tent semi-closed at night)
  • New interactions for V (sit on chairs, lean on fences, sleep in the new living truck, open wardrobes and appearance editor)
  • Possibility to drive inside the camp (QoL improvement, restricted area and invisible walls removed, replaced by a slow speed area)
  • Showers improved (more privacy)
  • New gym area
  • NPCs added with animations and daily routines

❤️ Recommandation :
To have a better experience, I highly recommand you to install Panam Romanced Enhanced which improves Panam's daily life and allows you to sleep with her in her tent.
Improved Aldecaldos Camp is designed to go along this mod (but not required).



📂Installation :
  • Install using a manager like Vortex



❗ Known issues :
  • PNJs walk through the new tent
  • Camp changes are visibles even before the camp moved
  • Wall stash inside the truck does not display iconic weapons (not implemented yet)
  • Mirror at the bathroom isn't functionnal (not implemented yet)
  • Sometimes NPCs spawn stuck in objects
  • Modded Interactions HUD when visible hides native interactions HUD (but still accessible)
  • Interaction icons are visible all the time (LHUD mod compatibility issue)
  • The "slow speed zone" for cars in the camp is inconsistent and can be annoying
  • Added interactions "sit on chair" still available if an NPC is using the chair.



❓ FAQ :
  • Is this an AMM preset ?
NO. This mod does not require AMM, it works on its own and add stuff directly to the world. (I don't like AMM 😠)

Yes, this is not a requirement, everything will work as expected.

  • When will the next update be ?
When it's ready. Next updates require me to learn a lot on modding; this represents a lot of work for not a lot of result, so my motivation oscillates. The first "complete" version took a year, to figure out everything I wanted. Be patient ⏳

  • Does V's tent close automatically ?
No, only NPC's tents will close automatically, I let you the pleasure to open/close your own tent. But I may add a setting to switch between manual/automatic in a futur update.

  • When does the tents close ?
Expect NPC's tents to close between 10pm and 6am.
Between 10pm and midnight, each tent (and small camping tent) will have a 10% chance to close, and this will repeat every 10 seconds.
The idea is to give an organic feel, to prevent seeing all tents close instantly past 10pm.
If you sleep at day in the camp and wake up before midnight, it may take about a minute before all the tents get closed.
Past midnight, all tents will be closed.
The same logic applies for the tents to open past 6am. And past midday, all tents are guaranteed to be opened.



⚙️Compatibility :
This mod should be compatible with every other mod, without exception.
  • It is compatible with the mod  Panam Romanced Enhanced, which also changes the curtains of the showers. If any doubt, check that this mod is loaded after.
The edited texture of the shower head might also affect other unknown places that use it, but as it fixes its shape, it should fix other places too.
