The thing is, this game has two types of hairstyles. One of them have a .mesh (3D file of the hair itself), and an .animgraph (the animation of dangling hair) The other one only uses the .mesh file, which means its a static hairstyle (no dangling).
On top of that some hairstyles have one mesh. Some have two meshes. And some even have three meshes. That is actually the reason why I split the mod in four.
Mod 1 is hairstyles using one to three meshes, and one animgraph. Mod 2 is hairstyles using three meshes. Mod 3 is hairstyles using two meshes. Mod 4 is hairstyles using one mesh.
The only head equipment using .animgraph is the bandana. Which means I won't be able to do anything with mod 1. It's locked to the bandana.
The only head clothing using three meshes is the Asian hat. So mod 2 is locked to that.
The only mods I can convert/rework is mod 3 and 4. It is possible to split those hairstyles between all the head equipment.
Found a way to make any of these work regardless of what you did when you first made your character thanks to Snapdragon, the person that made the Cybercat save editor. Simply go in the save editor load your save , go to the appearance tab and save your preset and then open it in a text editor, notepad++ works fine, press CTRL+F type short to find it, then change short to long, then save, load that preset with the save editor again and save changes, then all the hairstyles should work. Snapdragon might add a setting to change that easily in the future but for now this is what pple have to do.
Just letting people know that these work well for me. It even shows my custom colour hair replacer mod I use. Unfortunately Mod 1 hairs don't reflect my modded hair colour, it keeps reverting to dirty blonde. Too bad. At least I can still use the Lizzy hairstyle for Mod 1 which is my fave hair and colour.
Hello. Really liked ur Cowboy Hat Replacer but wanted to switch to the bandana replacer. But every single hairstyle from that category has a weird metal spike think in the back of the head. I have no other hair mods and no bandana mod so far so it should be your mod. Do you know of any way I could fix this?
I just wanted to say thank you for this mod At the moment it is solving a bug that makes my character bald outside of the appearance menu (hair looks normal in menu). I've tried removing all my mods but I can't find a cause for it so this mod is now my only way to display hair! So thanks once again, your mod is keeping my scalp warm!
I would chose ponytail_bulb during initial character creation, but the 083_ponytail_bulb cant be working 4 me, Its will become the appearance of 083_ponytail_braid, how 2 fix? Does it conflict with hair color or hair shadow mod?
I know that you have been waiting to get permissions to use some of the suggested Silverades hairstyles for your hat-hair mod, but I was curious if you might try your hand at the Gutt3rgirl Hairstyle from keysuspect? I'd love to see this as an option for either Mod 1 or Mod 4, if it's possible?
Thanks again for all of your hard work for the community!
Hey ! Love your mod man. I've been looking for Alt's Hair cut for V male for ages now and i was wondering if you could add it to mod 4... Would be great.
I love all the options you've got so far, but am thinking of starting a new game with this hair style, so was hoping to use it. Thanks again for all of your contributions for the community!
Awwwnnn, really wish you could get permission to be able to make a hat with SilverEzredes' mod "Femme Fatale", cause I always get glitched hair when I swap a NPC with my V...

I did have a request, would it be possible to add in Mod 1 (bandana) the option for the ReVengence Hair by SilverEzredes?
