so i cant tell from the images, but just how much of the parts of the car can i change the colour of? Could i perhaps swap the green on the seats for red or something? i'd like to just have a tame white body and rims with the red light bar and seats. is that possible?
I think it would be nice to have a seperate option for seat color. I'm running this with black paint, red backlight, and waveform turbofan. But I still have green seats and I don't think I want white rims on my otherwise dark car. I'll follow this mod and welcome an option to just recolor the seats.
As an aside, it might be kind of nice to move the rear-view camera out to the rear window or bumper. I can kind of see out the back when I use reverse cam, but most of the view is obscured. Still, a lot of modded cars don't have any rear-view camera at all, so I can't get all picky about it.
I will say, even without a rear-view camera, I highly recommend the Ferrari Daytona SP3. I suppose the first rule of Italian driving is' "What is behind you is not important." One free kudo to whover knows that reference without googling it.
I have a request. The body style reminded me of a car from my youth. The Dodge M4S. It was originally designed as a pace car for Indy but was debuted in the movie "The Wraith" in 1986. Anyone think they could pull it off? The movie was hot trash but the car was amazing.
Hey man I've downloaded both your Nissan Skylines and have been enjoying them for a while now and had a car to request you look into and think about making into a mod! The car I had in mind would be the 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am from the old 1980s show Knight Rider. I was also wondering if it would be possible to replicate the light that the car named KITT in the show has on it's hood that waves left and right and also the interior dashboard as well (Season 3-4 Dashboard).
Could you maybe tell me the names of the files for the rims? I'm sure I'll find them eventually, but it's taking me a while. Got red seats and black front rims.. I want to edit the white swirl to red for the front, but for now I can't find the back rims..
Edit: I also have no idea what I'm doing. I'm extracting 2 parts of your mod and throwing them together randomly. lol
the mesh or the texture? for the mesh it's "wheel_rear.mesh", as for texture it's just using solid color texture, only the middle part is textured inside the mesh > localMaterialBuffer > bbs2 > values > baseColor
Thanks much. I'm moving files from the default version to the red and white version to cover the wheels and I removed the rim cover thingy for now. Just frankensteining a lil bit. I want the red seats black rims and I'm going to attempt to recolor the white swirl to red for the front tire. Going to check out some of your other mods this afternoon because I love the handling on this car.
Edit: I really don't know what I'm doing though. Just smashing stuff together.
I looked around in the mod files and could not find the green seats so that I could edit them. I found the wheel cover's but could not find the file for the rims colors. So I took the white and red file and gutted anything that I thought was the rims. (could not find the red seats either) Then I removed the wheel covers from both versions. Put them together and that's where I am now. I was just going to drop the red seats in the stock file because it was close to what I wanted with the wheel cover off. I was just elaborating so that you had an idea of the tomfoolery I was getting into here. I want to learn more, it's just taking me a while to figure stuff out.

Is it possible to get a Nova Traffic compatibility file? Would be great to see these roaming the city!
Do you have any plans to make the Polestar 1 Hero/K.S edition from Heat / unbound as well ?
like this?
