Installing through vortex gives me an error saying that it something went wrong deploying redmods. I tried installing it manually but nothing changes in game.
your preview video is super unclear, does the mod change the firing sound to Pre PL (Mod) or Original? in your description it says it changes it to the Original firing sounds... but in the Video it seems like Pre PL is the sounds your using, which imo dont sound as good as what you labeled as "original" so. im thoroughly confused.
Pre PL is the mod which WAS the ADS firing sound before the PL update The original is the current patch of the game, which was the hip firing sound of the malorian before the PL update.

thanks for the info! much appreciated! and no, it has nothing to do with the quality of your mod. just a theme with the sounds CDPR chose for their gunshot audio. like to me, the Original sounds closer to an actual gunshot then the Pre PL. but its all subjective. I hope you don't think i was trying to give you a hard time or anything. because i genuinely wasn't. I just prefer one sounds over another and couldn't tell which one was the replaced audio.
there's a wav file in the folder, takes you 2 seconds to download and hear it, which is longer than it takes to record gameplay and make a youtube video.
