This mod replaces the reticle of the Kanetsugu scope. 5 reticle types, each available in 9 colours.
I originally created this reticle for my Crusher Prototype T mod, but then decided to also expand the types and colours and publish it as a standalone replacer.
Installation:
- Download the reticle type you'd like to install.
- In the downloaded .zip archive, go inside the folder of a colour you want to install, e.g. Kanetsugu Reticle Replacer - Type 1 - Blue.
- Extract the folder's contents (archive and r6 folders) into the main directory of Cyberpunk 2077.
- For example if you have a Steam copy of Cyberpunk, the game directory might be: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077
- If you are installing this mod mid-playthrough, you will have to acquire a new copy of Kanetsugu scope (see known bugs).
Known bugs:
Scope is invisible:
Kanetsugu scopes acquired before this mod was installed are often invisible. Acquiring a new Kanetsugu scope should hopefully help as a workaround. It doesn't matter if you get the scope through in-game means or a console command.
Perfect charge indicator is stuck:
Perfect charge indicator sometimes gets stuck and remains displayed - seems to be happening with vanilla scopes as well.
Compatibility:
Quite possibly not compatible with mods that also change the Kanetsugu scope in some way.
Preem Scopes - It seems like this mod works together with Preem Scopes, but Preem Scopes is apparently affecting these Kanetsugu reticles (e.g. removes fluff text on the sides of Type 1 reticle).
Changelog:
Version 1.3:
- Added 2 new reticle types - Vampire Hunter and Maelstrom Butcher.
- This mod no longer locks the appearance of the scope itself (not the reticle) to the carbon one. In other words, Kanetsugu scopes can again appear in all vanilla variants.
- Centered all reticles. All reticles were previously positioned slightly below the aiming point.
Version 1.2:
This replacer now works on Epic Kanetsugu scopes as well as Legendary ones.
Version 1.1:
Was supposed to fix the reticle not working on Epic Kanetsugu scopes. It didn't fix it.
Version 1.0:
Initial release.
