As far as i know, "Cyber Engine Tweaks" once had an SMT-Patch that did the same thing as this one without having to edit the exe file, but they removed it. So i hereby call for an SMT Fix based on CET so there is no need to edit the exe file every time the game gets an update, and since i can't do that, i ask that someone else who has more knowledge can do it. Or make something like an automatic exe patcher to make it easier to use.DONE.

Feel free to use my findings and data for this purpose, i don't claim them!

I would be happy if you could give a short feedback on whether this “Hack” was of any use to you. And if so, what exactly did you find? (Better Frame Times, FPS, Loading Time or Better Core Utilization) Please write down what kind of processor you have so that we can estimate which models are still affected by the SMT problem and we simply have an overview of who it would help. Maybe it will even help CDPR to fix these things in the next update (if there is another one).

Big difference for me.  I'm running a 5900x and 4090, path tracing @ 4k DLSS Quality , RR Off, HDR on

Before - Constant stuttering when moving around the game world as well as larger 1-2 second hangs, frame rate around 68/70

After - big pauses and microstutter are fixed, not a big framerate difference.  Maybe less occasional dips and holding a more solid 70fps.  Just look at that avg utilization, it usually bounces between 60 and 70% for the cyberpunk exe

Well, that's a very clear example^^ For me the whole thing looks similar to my case, my core load is distributed better and I also noticed that all the little stutters have disappeared. I also have to make a picture comparison like this and upload it here when I get around to it. But I'm glad I could help you.

Using a 7800x3D.  Doesn't help with FPS, but does seem to help with stutters, not removing stutter entirely, but it is noticeably smoother.

TheReaper1988 Can it also give some advantage over Zen 3? My specs are:
    R7 5800x
    Strix 3070Ti OC Edition
    Dominator Platinum (4x8) 32GB 3600mhz CL16
    1080p 240hz

I don´t know, you should try it and if it doesn´t give you a performance advantage you can always switch back to the original exe.

Ok after several tests, I bring my results here... I'll start by saying that there is certainly an increase in load on the CPU...
But in terms of results I don't see any improvement in the game, in fact for the benchmark I only see worsening in terms of average FPS...
      WITHOUT MOD SMT FIX
-With my usual settings: 150.47 Average FPS
-With my usual settings + RT: 98.65 Average FPS
-With my usual settings + RT + RR: 90.33 Average FPS
      WITH MOD SMT FIX
-With my usual settings: 149.03 Average FPS
-With my usual settings + RT: 95.41 Average FPS
-With my usual settings +RT +RR: 83.02 Average FPS
Too bad it didn't work for me, I would have really liked to increase the performance!!!

BRO YOU ARE THE MAN!!!! ENDORSED!!
No more stuttering while running or driving in the denser parts of the city (Mainly driving, running barely had much stutter to begin with).
At least a 20% improvement in FPS.

My setup: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H, 16.0 GB RAM, RTX 3060 Laptop

This mod made the game playable with Ray Tracing for me. Seems like the fix smoothed out my 1% lows, mitigating/eliminating the jittery/stuttery feeling my game had with Ray Tracing enabled before. My system is a Ryzen 7 5800x3d, rtx 3090 playing at 3440x1440p DLSS quality. The game runs anywhere from 62-95fps without fsr3 fg and depending on how busy the location of the game is, but I haven't seen any dips below 60fps.

Edit: Forgot to put this... This is with all Ultra graphics, no path tracing and RR.

Would this be of use to me? Checking how my CPU (Ryzen 5 3600) is utilized throughout the game shows all cores at around 80% utilization.

You can try it and if it doesn't help or you notice a negative effect, you can switch back to the old exe.

When i was playing 2.11 this mod really improved my fps but when i use it with 2.12 this makes my game stutter with too many npc's like lizzy bar etc. And the stutters are very interesting, it does not lower my fps but i feel like fps became 15-30 and when i save and load it becomes normal for 10 sec then it happens again. When i went back my normal exe it went away so im sure its this one. If you want me to describe how it feels, it feels like those vsync advertisement, the ones that look like screen tears. It feels like this.

I have done some test with my PC (Ryzen 5700X + RX6800), and here are the MSI Afterburner results:
    BASE (CPU usage was 50~60%)
                         Average framerate  :   93.8 FPS
                         Minimum framerate  :   76.0 FPS
                         Maximum framerate  :  113.4 FPS
                         1% low framerate   :   71.1 FPS
                         0.1% low framerate :   50.7 FPS
BASE + HPET turned OFF (CPU usage was 47~62%)
                         Average framerate  :   93.6 FPS
                         Minimum framerate  :   75.3 FPS
                         Maximum framerate  :  113.0 FPS
                         1% low framerate   :   70.6 FPS
                         0.1% low framerate :   57.4 FPS
BASE + HPET OFF + this Patch (CPU usage was 52~67%)
                         Average framerate  :   93.2 FPS
                         Minimum framerate  :   75.0 FPS
                         Maximum framerate  :  112.4 FPS
                         1% low framerate   :   70.6 FPS
                         0.1% low framerate :   49.1 FPS

So, it does nothing for me, but i will keep HPET turned OFF, since that can benefit with other games too.
