Thanks, much appreciated. Can't play without it  personally and all the LUT mods that supposedly make the game look better in my opinion just make the game look flat and lifeless... All personal opinions of course...

@wagnum I know right!? - I just loaded up LUT switcher, got a bunch of LUTS and they can look great in one area and terrible the next, no consistency, the vanilla LUT has the most consistency, and was designed to be that way.

    Nice work.

Similar but better to the very popular Mango's Ultra Reshade which tries for the same thing but yours is less unnecessarily dark and has even less of an FPS hit (at least on the No Vignette version). I actually prefer the main version designed for games with vignette enabled even with vignette disabled, as it the other one kind of enables a vignette lol.

    Thanks.

Very beautiful reshade suprising that this isn't getting more traction as it should, my go to graphics now are the supernova reshade preset paired with lumm II and realcolor IV, it looks super awesome, thank you for sharing this wonderful preset choom

Hello, I love your vanilla ReShade. It's the best, simply from it's simplicity. I can't go back to vanilla-vanilla ever again. Great job!
I've been wanting to use the Supernova version but the only LUT I see on nexus is Supernova 2.0. Is this still compatible with your Supernova ini file?

Requires off site reshade. Several youtube videos can show how to install.

This is an excellent Reshade, I mean, to some extent if you're happy with the vanilla lighting/colour in general and just don't like the green/yellow colour tint, this is all you need.

I wonder if you could have a look at the 3 main lighting mod setups around just now (GITS, Nova/Pure and NCLM) and use your photographer's acumen to do reshades that tweak/enhance those? There are Reshades that people have done that go with them, but most of them are too heavy or idiosyncratic, or too big of a performance hit.  Seeing as (judging by this Reshade) you seem to know what you're doing, it would be interesting to see how you'd tweak those main lighting mods :)

Of course it's a whole number because they all have variations and optional LUTs, but maybe one day if you have the time and the inclination (and a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to easily switch things in and out)  ... :)

Thanks for the praise, much appreciated. Have played around with GITS and NOVA a little but since I feel like sunny weather is fitting for the location and they flatten the sunny weather making it look bland hence why i've stuck with the Vanilla LUT. Don't get me wrong, both look awesome at night and overcast weathers but sunny day weather they just havent nailed down in my opinion which stops me from using them. currently playing my first playthrough of Phantom Liberty but when I finish it i'll probably try and do one for Nova as that seems to be the best balanced one.

Just gave it a try as i'm a sucker for testing these kind things rather than actually playing the damn game and with Nova Pure the results were alright but not ideal. Going to try Nova Vibrant as feel the colours just look too washed out during sunny weather and unless people start retexturing the colourful buildings, you need to have them looking "vibrant" otherwise your not capturing a realistic portrayal of what happens to colours in daylight. If i'm successful i'll add it to my downloads on here...

OKay there you go, uploaded one :)

Use the SuperNova LUT and don't use the NOVA ENV, just standard... PURE was too washed out and Vibrant was too over the top if trying to use reshade with. Probably has ended up looking pretty similar to my reshade with the standard LUT, but what can I say, it's the look I like...

That's very nice, thanks for that!  You've managed to make Nova look sharper and more colourful, so the effect is like a cross between the colourfulness of vanilla and the slightly bleak photorealism of the Nova family, but it's still basically photorealistic-looking.

I hope I haven't set you off down a rabbit hole lol - I too sometimes get into these bouts of fiddling with the game more than playing it.  Using MO2 makes it even more compulsive :)

After all the different LUTs i've tried this one is the only one that actually looks better without drawbacks in other areas; the simplicity of this reshade is key. The only tweak I made was reducing the Luma sharpen strength to around 0.400 was a bit overkill at 0.900 on my LG C9 OLED.

However I have an issue installed reshade 6.0.1 and used your .ini file so it only installs the shaders required. Opening the main menu causes the game to crash (sometimes need to open the menu twice for crash to occur, but is repeatable). I've tried enabling performance mode but no difference. Removing Reshade resolves this, any ideas?☚ī¸

    I'm running v2.11.

      Thanks much appreciated :)

Yeah with the sharpening thats's all relative as since i'm playing in 2k on my TV in the living room, having stronger sharpening than required for someone playing on a standard setup is important so no surprise your bringing it down somewhat.

With regards to the crashing, since it's just a reshade and not a LUT it shouldnt crash the game, just not load up if corrupted since it's an overlay effect rather than affecting the game files. Therefore difficult to say what's happening but can't imagine it's my .ini fiel that's causing the crashing even if at first it seems like it... I'd suggest doing a bit more testing to try and solve the cause.

Yeh not saying it's your .ini that's the cause, it's most definitely Reshade that's the issue. Shame I can't use this, it really does look much better.

Perhaps try using a different version of reshade? Seems odd an overlay program is crashing your game but if it's the only factor your changing for the crash to occur, guess it's not happy working with another overlay program or the reshade install is dodgy... Can only assume those are the two posibilities.

With some help from Reddit found the cause to be FrameGen....
I was not aware Reshade does not work with Framegen enabled (at least for me), turned it off crashing no longer occurs. But can't trade framegen for this reshade, that is a shame.

That is a shame. I'm running on a 3080 and absolutely no problems whatsoever using DLSS but assume your using a newer card? If I knew how to make LUT's i'd try and implement my colour grading there but alas only know how to do simple reshades...

I think there's a way to do that, I never got to learn how to do it as I'm currently busy with thesis but this article might help you

Oh yeah of course I'd still recommend it. Perhaps just using the colormatrix effect as that is the all important one for the white balance.

Brilliant! First ReShade here that actually makes the game look better!

I added your Colormatrix, Levels and AmbientLight settings to my personal ReShade .ini I'm using. I had given up on trying to fix the colors as when one color looked good, another was off, so this is very welcome! I'm using this with Nova LUT Vibrant with ENV (PT), Ultra Fog and Preem Water and it feels like the final touch to get the game to look just right. Thank you very much for this! Kudos!

Just glad others are making use of something i've been using for ages. Couldn't be arsed to upload it but then had a bit of spare time so. Glad you've found the perfect blend for your taste :)
