"I'm not sure if you should support people who don't look at what they're installing beforehand :)"
What about those that are new to PC gaming and using mods? I know from recent experience (less than a year of PC gaming) that no matter how much you read descriptions and instructions, we can't all get things to work. There are many levels of gamer, mod user and modder. We're not all pros yet. Help like this can help us to learn how to do things and learn things about modding, instead of struggling on our own.
The comment you are referring to consisted of two comment parts (see below). it started with: "can you post the spawn codes for these? Thanks"
and the answer from "AmigoWuzHere" was: "They're in the file contents"
“AmigoWuzHere” then posted the IDs. (The comment you're referring to) and I replied to it jokingly.
Since the user asked for IDs, I'm assuming he knows what it is and can't find it. (It is located on top in the .zip file and is called ID.) So I'm wondering if the user downloaded the .zip and installed everything including the .txt file because he didn't look at the contents of the .zip? Then there is now a lonely ID.txt file in his Cyberpunk files directory. :D
I'm happy to give help where needed, but in my opinion it was just someone who didn't look at what they were installing. Which is ignorant and can also be dangerous.
REDMOD is a nightmare and breaks things constantly for people who update and/or have/don't have the Phantom Liberty DLC. Hope you consider uploading a version that doesn't rely on it. Thanks!
The mod description describes how to install the file without Redmod. A note about this is even attached below the download file. Did you read that?
REDmod has been around much, much longer than the Phantom Liberty DLC and has nothing to do with it. I also have Phantom Liberty. I don't understand how REDmod can cause problems after an update, especially since it turns itself off as a precaution (in the toggle switch menu on Steam) so that problems don't occur. REDmod doesn't do anything itself, it just loads the existing mods. It preloads all mods on its list and loads them as if they were part of the game's regular structure. This will result in a short delay at startup (while it does that), but loading times during the game will be much faster. It sounds more like these “people” are having problems after an update because their mods are out of date and need an update.
I never said I don't know how to do it, I just thought you should know the reality of REDMOD, and hoped you could be considerate. If just want to deny it, and then explain how you think it works instead, that's cool too.
I've been waiting for something like this! The brown boots goes so well with the rest of the brown clothes I use on my V. Also thx for showing use how to use redmod files as regular archives, I didn't know you could do that manually!

You can find the IDs as a .txt file in the downloaded .zip file

Nice boots though. Take care
