Could a command be made to open the map make a selection and close the map so we do not see where it selected ? Or if need be when the map is open a hotkey to make a selection and close the map. Just thinking this would make it more of a surprise.
What was happening was it was checking pin type and distance at same time, and if it was outside the distance setting, it was marking it as an 'unknown' pin type (which didn't respect distance or pin type filters).
I've released a fix. The distance setting is now respected, even by unknown types, and also, pin type is recognized regardless of distance so the pin type filters will now always work, too.
This version also changes the wording on the setting which controls what holding the button does, hopefully it's more clear now.
I cant believe. Always thought something like this was absolutely necessary, because you would always know what’s waiting for you at the end of your destination and that just takes out all of the excitement.
Thank you so much for this.
I can’t check it out, when you open your map you probably see where the waypoint is set? Hopefully we can close the map fast enough to not see it (at worst, we can look away for a second.)
It would be amazing if there was a keybind to randomize destination, one day maybe…
Yeah you'll see where it's set and track it just like tracking any other quest or map pin.
Unfortunately there isn't a way I know of to track something without the map being open. (The exception is quests.)
So although I could make a keybind for it, the keybind would only work when your map was open. I opted to just make it automatic instead (with a way to open the map without randomizing).

Thanks for the mod!
Distance limit is not respected
It tracks drop boxes even though that setting is off
It reeeeeally likes sending me to shops on the other side of town
I have it set to hold M to activate it, maybe that has something to do with it?

Perfect way to randomize the order you complete Gigs, Side Quests, NCPD, etc. Immersion enjoyers would love this.

Once again, thank you!
