Great Matrix moment - last night doing a gig, first time ever I ran into a punk cyberpunk Tyger gal sporting day-glo orange semi-translucent cybernetic head spikes. Had to stop and ogle for a moment or three.
Love mods like this that put the Cyber back into Cyberpunk.
This mod feels very stable. Meshes seamlessly with other head-cyberware mods I have installed. It also meshes with any hairstyle, which I fucking love. There have been spike mods like this before, but this is the first one I have found that has no glitches. Thank you!
That's a huge reason why I've been getting into Cyberware; CDPR did a great job with the game, but in terms of character customization...we really do need more of the proper Cyberpunk stuff.
Glad you enjoy using the mod and that it works okay; thanks for the kind comment :)
I absolutely love this mod, and have been looking from the first moment i saw them on an npc. These ones suit my character really well, but i wish the three spikes on the back of the head didn't cover up the hole on the Deep Dive Port. any chance on getting a version to accommodate?
Hi! Really glad you like the mod and that they look great on your character!
As for them messing with the Deep Dive Port, I could have a look at the mesh in Blender. If the spikes are all separated, I can see if it's possible to remove some. But I suspect it'll all be one piece.
I am pretty busy with other projects right now, but when I next have time I can take a look at this :)
Hi, I can't seem to get the color to change. I've added slot 3 spikes. Downloaded and added More Head Mesh main file, and added gold texture, but I only get plain metal. Do I need the Misc files from MHM? Do I need to number one of the file names? Update: Switched to Slot one tried different colors. Spikes show up fine just won't change color. I'm probably missing a step you mentioned 4 times, but I can't seem to find it LOL.
Hi, I tested Slot 1 and 3 for Both Vs with every colour option, and every colour option shows up fine. (I also test all my mods thoroughly before uploading) All you need is More Head Meshes; nothing else and nothing in the Misc files. Please don't change the file names; as I say in the ReadMe documents, do not mess with the file names lmao.
Please check nothing else is allocated to the slots you tried :) If you installed with Vortex, try installing manually. 9 times out of 10, I've found people having issues are using Vortex haha. I have Manual Install instructions in the description :)
If it's not Vortex, it's going to be some kind of mod conflict or installation error on your end :)
Thanks for the reply. Sadly, it must be a mod conflict as I followed the directions exactly. Something preventing the texture from applying. I'll try and figure it out. I'll reply here if I find it. I'm new to Cyberpunk modding, does the texture file point to an existing game texture or is it an added texture. If it points to an existing texture within the game, it might help me to know what else that texture is used on. Also, I am using the files for Male V if that makes any difference. Don't trouble yourself if you don't know off hand, I'd rather you keep making mods than helping dummies like me. LOL
Hi, yeah if you followed the instructions it's gonna be a conflict on your end. The colours come from the game files, and from what I remember they are supposed to be unique to the head spikes. However I can check one of the colour files later and see if anything shares that texture.
But it's unlikely to be something with my colours as no one else has reported the issues, and I have alot of files in my mod folder. It's a very strange issue that you've found.
As I said I did test every single one of the colours for the slots 1 and 3 on Both Vs, and it all looks fine for me. No issues with the colours showing up or getting distorted in some way.
Opened up one of the Wkit projects for a Colour option. Yeah the colours are unique to the Cyberware spikes. (Opened up the MLsetup as thats where the colours come from, and the texture is specifically allocated to the cyberware spikes) I genuinely don't know what else could be causing your issue. I've been zipping around for screenshots for my other mods and I haven't noticed any issues with textures.
Sadly all I can reccomend at this point is taking out any mods that could possibly conflict, and adding them back in one by one to see what the issue is. As I cannot seem to recreate the issue, and I haven't had any other bug reports, sadly there isn't anything else I can do to help.
Very sorry, really hope you work out what the issue is. Modding can be very frustrating at times lmao
No worries, I love the spikes myself so making mods from them is super fun. Gold is the one that seems to look the best for some reason, so it's definitely worth giving that a shot! Thanks for the kind words :)
First thing that popped into my head was Pinhead from Hellraiser movie, it's how my brain is wired! Love it. I will be getting these very soon, awesome work on them!! <3

(But I'm glad you like the spike mods together; thanks for the kind words! :D)
