Fantastic :) <3 Thank you so much. Tho, how about enabling autosaves for the final mission? Is it possible? No autosave means i cant bring the gear from final mission back to the main game :)
This mod works perfectly on the current version of the game (2.12). I've always hoped for a mod like this that would solve the progression problems of Phantom Liberty once the hateful automatic saves were deactivated, God bless you!
hi and thxs for the mod,I only want to no have autosaves but no want to brake any quest or similar in game and in dlc, only have instaled :NoMoreAutossaves-PhantomLibertyCompatible.zip ¿need the other mod :Adaptive Autosaving?
Thks is only that I need :),to non brake game and no have autosave that f*#@ most times while driving and similar. And thks again for this kinds of mods that really do best gameplay.
In "Adaptive Autosaving - Only Enabled For Questing" can it be configured so that it does not delete after 5 minutes? If yes, what would it be like? Inside the file delete this line: yes = Cron.After(300, function()? Or replace 300 with -1 or what would it be like?
Are you trying to disable autosaves entirely, or is 5 minutes with autosaves on not long enough for you? If you're trying to disable them entirely, you should just use the main file... But yeah, increasing that Cron timer would increase the time before disabling after they get enabled by hitting a quest objective... You don't want to set it to -1, though... The value is seconds... 300 seconds is 5 minutes... Put it to 600 for 10 minutes...
Do you have Phantom Liberty (and have you played through it with that)? Disabling autosaves with the ini method breaks certain quests in PL... It makes it so your objectives don't update when you reach them... One is near the start of PL when you need to turn on the power and call the elevator to go down to the car park... It usually won't update the objective when you get to the power switch, and that means it never gives you the prompt to actually flip the switch...
It's a pity your Adaptive Autosaving mod doesn't work with 2.12 (worked well enough with prior versions) but this one does work without a flaw. Thanks a lot.
This is almost certainly because the game takes a screenshot each time it saves, the actual process of writing to disk shouldn't cause any stuttering or lag. If someone wrote a mod that re-used a pre-rendered blank square each time then that should have the effect that you're looking for.
was it this mod or some other, where when certain conditions were met, and only then it would autosave? For example: not sprinting, not in combat, gun holstered then after a minute or so if conditions where met it would save? Was that this mod or?
Thanks for the mod, it helps me since I use mods FreeFly (Noclip) Let There Be Flight And the game saves when I'm in the air, when loading the game all scripts are disabled and I fall, this mod solved my problem. And often the game is saved simply when driving around the city.
Even on a high end rig the autosave pretty much always causes the game to hitch and drop frames for a moment. Small thing but when you're anal about saving (thanks for the PTSD, Bethesda stability™) the function is essentially useless anyway.
When you're trying to do a cool cinematic video showcasing a visual mod, or just record cyberpunk content, the auto save stutter that happens sucks. Especially when you're driving.
And it happens on EVERY rig, even people's NASA supercomputer RTX4090 PCs.
because it causes stupid stutters and drops when driving or just in general and auto saves every bloody 5 seconds it feels like.
meaning your getting drops all the time, even on my 4090 tuned beast, completely kills immersion when driving, this mod is a god send can finally enjoy driving around at high speeds.
besides us older people manually save all the time anyway, if you know anything about old rpgs it is to save save save. don't need auto save

[SaveConfig]
AutoSaveEnabled = false
Is doing it that way bugged somehow and I never noticed?
Thanks a lot.
