Hey there, I'm kinda new to modding and I want to ask how does one "mash" item together in equipment-EX. I have tried to combine black and gold pants by equipping them in different leg slots but it doesn't seems to work out for me. Thanks a bunch in advance!
They can be assigned to different slots via yaml files, the code that has "Items.XXXXX" is the base slot, where you equip the item without using Equipment-EX, and the code that has "OutfitSlots.XXXXX" is where you equip the item via Equipment-EX. Note that the XXXXX in these codes are what the slots are, like for example base slot for head is: Items.GenericHeadClothing While the EQ-EX slot is: OutfitSlots.Head And of course you can make any item use any slot you want, whether it's base or EQ-EX, like a helmet that can be equipped in torso slot, that would be weird to do, but that's how it works.

I wondering if you could do a particular mod. I'm looking for Chrome Shoes, the ones Lizzy wear when you first meet her at No Tell motel. Also the Russian assistant wears them too. Is this doable?
I can't find them anywhere else and the one mod that does apparently do them, I can't seem to get any of that users mods to work.
I don't know if there is a separate item for the shoes, or Evies/Mox boots need cutting down.
Try to look for these modders: Spawn0, NolaDreamer, LxRHyst. I'm pretty sure they covered that up, I've seen these boots before. Search their mods and see which one has what you're looking for.
Spawn0 is the modder whos mod I can't get on with. I've not got one to work. And I know they did do them. I've never seen anything on Nola, and I have downloaded a lot of their stuff. Hyst has only done two sets of shoes. Not in there though.
Spawn0 mods are working fine with me, I don't know why wouldn't they work with you though, unless you have a different body type or something. In any case I'm not gonna make something that's already been done by another modder, my aim is to improve my mods and make new things.
It doesn't crash my game at all, I'm pretty sure you have something on your end that causes the crash, if you're trying to use this mod, make sure you have all its requirements installed too.
That's the one. I had all the requirements. The mods going into CET/mods threw me, but downloaded everything correctly using their instructions and another modder was helping. I messed around a bit but to no avail. I think the crash was a missing file. I spent last night fixing the game, found out it was main atelier's update that was crashing it. The atelier I only updated last night (seemed to have removed the crashing file, but don't know which store is crashing it) But Spawn0's stuff I've been going at that since the weekend. On the weekend, when I downloaded, I seemed to have a flesh and tattoo skirt and a chunk out of my torso. I haven't got many body mods, just VTK, erebus arms and maybe toggleable feet on Vanilla body. Most of my cyderweat are all tweak stuff and Anrui's cyberware, so they shouldn't affect, with the 2 More Meshes mods.
I've tried other mods of theirs but couldn't get those to work either. I have many types of mods, so though I'm still learning, downloading Spawn0's stuff doesn't look hard to download. You and the other modder seem to have no problems, but for some reason, I am.
I'd do a clean uninstallation to all mods if I were you, and manually delete leftover files, make sure the vanilla game runs without issues, then re-install all mods again. I always do that when I have a crash, and that fixes it. BTW that mod also requires you to set textures to highest setting, otherwise you get faulty textures, try that.
Did the clean install thing and I'm up and running again with and without mods. I did see the High settings thing and I still need to try that, maybe that will stop me having a flesh skirt? But yeah, I'll give it another try.
Wasn't seeing texture itself, but set something to high. I semi got it to work, but poly mod messed up some store and clothing icons, and seems to not work with VTK, so I'n deleted it all. Just now trying to fix the other stuff. Been learning to mod all night, cos if I can, I'm going to try and make them myself... somehow.
an idea for a new set, a modular netrunner suit ? (Different leg lengths, different sleeve lengths, different boob parts or not, belly part or not and so on...)

We don’t need several variations… just the standard shoes. There are others in the game but none that match hers. anyway… wonderful set definitely endorseing this one!!! Thanks again!
Sorry the next update won't be soon, I'm moving out of my house to another this month, so there is a lot of packing and cleaning to do. But I'm glad you like my mod, and thanks for the endorsement.
oh I see, problem with that is color is not the same with the latino shoes and an even bigger problem is latino shoes (and 2 more shoes) do not appear on wardrobe for me, they appear in the inventory and can be used but does not appear in the wardrobe. This I could not solve, and this is why I asked for standalone versions. Anyhow I understand you, you already did a great job and should not waste time in something you don't like, especially for free. Thanks a lot!

Great mod! I will wait for the next update which, as stated, will have the inner part. And I would like to mention a small suggestion: Aurore shoes. They are also great in various colors. My V uses the Hyst EBBRB bodymod. Endorsed.
Aurore's shoes are Latino shoes, they already exist in shops, you already can buy them, and I personally don't like them tbh. I even changed them in the outfit replacer to include heels instead.
Yes I know. However, what she wears appears to be black leather with silver details. Well, to be honest, I only mentioned the shoes to have a complete outfit. I also think it looks better with high heels.
