Check this guide I wrote on the Zenitex Atelier modpage. Please read that first and don't jump straight to commenting that a mod doesn't work in your game. You will waste your time waiting for me to answer to your question, and all I'll say is redirect you to the guide, as it's very likely you're asking something covered there.
What this guide does:
It contains solutions for most issues that could happen in your games with my mods.
It will guarantee to fix your issue with my mods. No really, if you follow the steps, it will.
It may even give you an idea why clothing mods from other authors are not working for you.
Interested in other gear used in previews?
Ask away, but before doing that, here are some things to know:
Scroll down the comments, maybe someone already asked before you and got an answer.
Add the pic number and its author name in your comment, so I know where to look.
I will send a screenshot of your comment to my preview team and they will likely answer you.
Help each other, if you see someone asking for gear used in a picture and you know it, reply with a link to it.
Some mods may be private, unreleased or no longer obtainable. Don't be upset if that's the case.
All characters in the previews are private.
Personal Notes: ❯❯❯ 3/28/2025
Update 3.2 brings this rather outdated mod to my most modern standard. A less important, appearance update regarding the colors is also required, but that another time in future.
Rant: I won't be making a pack of this size again due to how complex it is to maintain.
❯❯❯ 3/31/2025 So what just happened? Why was some of your games crashing on load with this mod installed?
Imagine you and I being asked to write a 1 page presentation about one of our hobbies. What's the chance of us writing the exact same document, identical, word for word? Very slim, 1 in a few millions? Maybe much more. Well that's exactly what happened here, except with hashes - unique item IDs generated by the game.
The item record 'scorpion_armor_pads_thigh_l_white_Iconic' produced the same hash code as the Apogee Sandevistan Tier 5++. Every item in the game must have a unique ID, otherwise the game will crash.
The odds of this happening are beyond ridiculous, but somehow it happened under unknown circumstances in some of your games. I only know this was the cause.
The thigh pad item records have been changed, which will generate different hashes. You will need to respawn the thigh pads with the new codes.
It wasn't an issue on your end nor was an issue in my development of the update.
Hey so I was making an outfit using the accessories but every time I go equip the saved outfit in the wardrobe it crashes the game. IDK why it does it and it's only with these items that the game crashes. All the other military equipment works fine except for these. Also I did update to the latest version but the bug is still there
It can't be the same hash code issue - that one can crash only with that sandevistan. Either way, this is too vague. Like I said in my troubleshooting guide, there is nothing I can do with just "This mod crashes my game when...". If it's replicable crash, good, you need to bisect your modlist and possibly items in your inventory to narrow it down, then you report your findings and I can start looking into it.
I did bisect which is why I can tell you that this mod causes a crash in the wardrobe. All the other equipment mods work fine when I save them to an outfit. But when I equip an outfit with any gear from this mod (thigh pads, knee pads, elbow pads, and shoulder pads) the game crashes when I try to put that outfit on. But yea the outfit crash only happens with those items. I did a test on an outfit with only these items and it crashed and I did another one with an outfit without any of these items and the military gear items and it didn't crash. If there's something else you want me to look for I will.
Try these things and tell me the outcome: - go back all the way to a save when you just finished the prologue and you're able to equip clothes - equip only 1 item from this mod, like 1 elbow pad - save the outfit and equip it in EEX - if you don't crash, repeat with every item until you get a crash - if you do get a crash with an item, try multiple colors of it, see if they're all crashing - you can also try use this mod, select 'remove all' then 'add all': this will add all items from all your mods in your EEX wardrobe so beware, but it will 'reset' whatever cached data is in EEX (probably wrong term but I've seen this fix other weird behaviours) https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5742
Also, long shot, but try redownload and reinstall, I had some cases of users with some inexplicable issues caused by some sort of download corruption or problems out of all things.
Ok so I don't know why but the crash is gone now. I did what you said and tested each piece of armor and no crash. I put them together and no crash. I put them in an outfit with the other equipment which caused the original crash and nothing happened. I would like to say tho that after I discovered the crash I disabled the mod and continued playing until you told me to test it out. I don't know if the problem fixed itself or if it'll come back but I'll make sure to let you know if another crash related to this occurs. Besides that thank you for trying to help.
Sounds like you played the game without the mod, then made a save, then enabled the mod and loaded into that new save. This can also clear whatever bad cache or data (or whatever, I really don't know the exact terms). Basically a really niche thing in your modded game.
Edit: Has already been reported, I should have read comments first.
Just wanted to let you know that in the item codes in the article, the thigh pads codes don't work (they have "thigh" instead of "quad"). E.g. Game.AddToInventory("Items.scorpion_armor_pads_thigh_l_alpine_Legendary")
However, the codes included in the text file with the mod work like a charm. E.g. Game.AddToInventory("Items.scorpion_armor_pads_quad_l_alpine_Legendary")
Again, love your work! I was initially coming here just to say that!
If there's more requests for it maybe I'll consider it. The oversized ones were a mistake by me back when I first made the mod, used wrong variant. From 3.0 onwards I turned the mistake into toggleable 'feature', just in case people were still using those.
So, When I have the Military Armor Pads mod enabled and Military Palette Texture Library enabled in vortex, game crash.
When I disable Armor Pads, and keep Palette, game is fine, and vise versa.
I have sold the Apogee Sandevistan to Viktor so I dont know where to go from now :P
EDIT: I fixed it, I think. By deleting the first 2 Armor Pad Toggle. I dont see anything missing from the shop or my inventory, I still have the Toggle equippables to f.eks make the mask go down on the face from the head position.
It's weird that after you changed the thigh pad records, I can't find them in my wardrobe(with Equipment-EX) even I remove and save and reinstall the mod. I can get the item using the CET code in text file and equip them in inventory, but still can't find them in wardrobe. I have two specops thigh pad in a outfit preset and the thigh pad also disappeared after that, reinstall and saving a new preset without thigh pads can't help. Looks like something broken with EquipmentEX, but I don't know how to do. Sounds ridiculous but that's it, hope you give me some insight into finding the problem.....
Oh thx for the quick help😳 Actually i am using this for wardrobe, but didn't know remove old code is the solution lol. So it's really cacheing or something from EEX cause this....
im having an issue where these items are in the store and have a picture but they don't have an name and don't appear when equipped any solution or did i miss one in the comments? I've tried reinstalling and updating all of your other mods i have installed.
If you were using an old version of this mod and updated to the latest version, this is happening because the author changed the name of the files and you have a duplicate mod. To fix it, just go to the archive and r6 folders and delete the following files scorpion_military_accessories_armor_pads_pack.archive scorpion_military_accessories_armor_pads_pack.xl scorpion_military_accessories_armor_pads_pack.yaml

Let me know of your results.
Either way I wouldn't recommend using GS files unless you have no body mods installed.
will u make other kids of armors that npcs wear (like the barghest heavy shoulder pads and their heavier knee pads)?

To fix it, just go to the archive and r6 folders and delete the following files
scorpion_military_accessories_armor_pads_pack.archive
scorpion_military_accessories_armor_pads_pack.xl
scorpion_military_accessories_armor_pads_pack.yaml
