1. Required mods Install the required mods that you can find in the mod description as described on the respective pages. Please note that the required mods also have required mods that also have to be installed.
2. Installation There are two installation ways:
REDmod installation
What does that mean? You must have the free REDmod DLC installed and start the game via game launcher. REDmod preloads any mods on its list, loading them as if they were a part of the game's regular structure. This leads to a brief delay during startup (while it does that), but the loading times during gameplay will be much faster.
You have to start the game via your game launcher so that the mods are activated, this is mandatory
There is a toggle switch in the game launcher that needs to be activated; on Steam it is located in the game launcher next to the start button, hidden behind a gear icon. It must be set to ON.
How do I install the file for REDmod:
Download the mod
Extract the .zip file. There is an archive folder in the .zip file.
Drop the entire folder into your games folder Steam: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077 GOG: ...\Galaxy\Games\Cyberpunk 2077 The folder contains several files that will be installed directly in the right place by doing this.
file location: The following files must now be in these locations (As an example I take the XL_pants_tight mod):
.yaml: ...\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks\MsFlower_XL/
XL_pants_tight.yaml
.archive and .ex ...\Cyberpunk 2077\mods\
XL_pants_tight (Folder)
info.jason
Archives (Folder)
XL_pants_tight.archive
XL_pants_tight.xl
Installation without REDmod
What does that mean? You use this installation if you have not installed the REDmod DLC or if you do not start the game via the Game Laucher but directly via the application file.

How do I install the file without REDmod: The easiest way is to install the file as described above and then move two files, i.e.:
Download the mod
Extract the .zip file. There is an archive folder in the .zip file.
Drop the entire folder into your games folder Steam: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077 GOG: ...\Galaxy\Games\Cyberpunk 2077 The folder contains several files that will be installed directly in the right place by doing this.
Now you have to take an additional step and move the .Archive and .ex files from the MODs folder and the MOD folder (see picture):
file location: The following files must now be in these locations (As an example I take the XL_pants_tight mod):
.yaml: ...\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks\MsFlower_XL/
XL_pants_tight.yaml
.archive and .ex ...\Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod
i dont know how, but downloading this mod completely ruined my mods. vortex isnt working right and none of my mods are working. i deleted it but still cant get anything to work.
I would be surprised if my mod broke all your mods. It has no effect on any game mechanics. You can see what you are installing in the file preview. Did you install the required mod in advance?
Hey im running into the issue of your boots not having a name and being invisible when spawned in my inventory. I have the newest red4ext, TweakXL, and Archive XL. I also have redmod currently installed. I installed this mod through the vortex downloader. Have you run into this issue before. WHen deploying mod it only gets to stage 3 of 5. On stage 2 It reads default control path does not return a value: cyberpunk\UI\mappins\minimapMappins.script:618
I know about the problem with the invisible files, it has something to do with the fact that the game wasn't started via the game launcher, which is a requirement for REDmod. Please read the detailed installation description that I have attached above.
Here is another page on how to activate REDmod in the Laucher.
I don't know anything about Vortex, Cyberpunk doesn't get along well with Vortex so I install everything manually but on the REDmod website that I linked here it says that REDmod and Vortex are not a problem.
There is no content with minimaps in this clothes mod. I can not help you.
I figured it out. I had Redmod installed but not activated through the settings wheel in the launcher. I still couldn't get it to work through manual install but vortex works that way. Also thank you for this mod there's too few good footwear in the base game.
你好 hello, it's nice to see a wonderful mod for a male V boot, in contrast to the female V has a lot of beautiful boots, but the sound of the boots put on is the sound of bare feet, I hope it can be fixed in the future, thank you~:) Bad English I'm sorry
Sound fix doesn't quite work... Every time I quit the game and launch it again, footstep sound stops working and I have to unequip boots and equip 'em back to get correct footstep sound to work again.
OK, I don't have good news, I asked smart people why the sound always disappears after a restart and if I can fix it. It was explained to me that I inserted it correctly and that this is the way it works at the moment. With re-equip.

- Added missing sound to the boots (Please re-equip your shoes or put on another shoe if the sound is not directly active)
